In the Beast Wars thread, a member advised me that if I like the Optimus Primal TF I received today I should pick up RM Lio Convoy as well. I did some research and Lio Convoy looks really bad ass and is now on my must-have list.

While searching for Lio I also found RM Snarl and Armordillo. Snarl looks pretty bad, but Armordillo has perked my interest. I've found him in a couple of spots pretty cheap too.

So my question is - how are these RM beast wars TFs? Are they worth the trouble of tracking down or what?

Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard Leo Convoy is superior to the original. I sure want him... the robot mode looks badass and he has an awesome gun.

Yeah and his beast mode isn't half bad either. But his weaponry is just plain awesome and very interchangable. I've seen numerous pics from the galleries here of his different weapon set-ups.

Lio looks incredibly bad ass in his beast mode with all of his guns drawn.

Anyone know anything about RM Snarl and Armordillo?

They're just repaints, so there's not much to expect if you have the molds already.

yay you listened to my advice i feel special now

leo convoy the robot masters version is one of the figures i pick up and pose the most i really like the head sculpt on it and the robot mode looks ace - its a vast improvement on the origonal figure

You said it!! I agree, lio Convoy is one of my favorites!! and the Robot Masters versions do him extreme justice!! I think it's cool too that his size is in good proportion to the rest of the Beast Wars reissue line up, and I think he looks really good next to the reissue Optimus Primal repaint toy from Robot masters line up.

If only they did a Robot Masters version of Big Convoy, that would be special!! not tomention galvatron and Magmatron from the additional Beast Wars series, it would look great with those guys in front of My IDW Beast Wars the gathering comics on stands behind my figures on my shelf..

Thanks for the advice my friend. I took one look at his galley on here and I was sold. Great beast mode, great bot mode and kick ass weapons. Plus he looks so much better than ugly overgrown version of him.

I guess Silverbolt, Megatron, and Magmatron will have to wait in line cause Lio Convoy is next.

Oh yeah and I've found a place that sells him for $17 too. What a steal! I'm waiting for them to contact me back to see just how legit they are tho.
