Screw it!
I HATE SCALPERS! However, given that NO Target within a 60 mile radius of me has ANY deluxes, I bought a G1 Jazz Target Exclusive off of ebay. For once, I did not have anyone bidding against me either. $11.99+shipping. Fair enough. I would have paid $11.99-ish at the store, and would probably have used $6.00 worth of gas looking for him, so fine. Done. Jazz G1 style is finally mine. All I need now is G1 colors movie voyager Thundercracker and Camaro Concept Bumblebee, and those are NOT Target exclusives, thankfully. So I can look at Wal Mart, and TRU for those than be at the mercy of those damned Targets with empty spaces where Transformers are SUPPOSED to be.

Oh wait.... Scalpers don't exist.

Dude, I'm not going to even bother looking for the G1 repaints until mid-October. F*ck it. By then BBTS will have them anyway.

Sure they will, at $14.99 + Shipping. Which would be more than what I paid for mine on evilbay.

Well the pacific nw target don't seem to have shortage of g1 colored figures be jazz, starcream or thundercracker. Heck I walked into the target at alderwood mall and they had shelf full of starscream and she said that latter in the week they would be getting the g1 jazz recolors. She was even nice enuff to find at store that had them for me which was the renton and northgate stores both had alot each. So I guess it all depends on wear you live right now.

Most recent Transformer I bought was Leader Megs, only had one of him at my local Big W. They had plenty of Leader Primes but no other toys...
haven't been to Toyworld, TRU or Target for a while. I wonder if I should make a round sometime this weekend.

Speaking of G1 Jazz- check out what he is going for in Japan. I guess it could be worse.

5500 yen is about $47- and the auction is not over yet.

It could be scalpers, or just lil kids who get excited over a figure that looks cool to them so their parent buys it? Or even both+limited stock the employees stock. Since Target stockers don't have a designated area really it's hard to stock just 1 dept. in 1 shift with the number of stockers I've seen when I go. Could be different in other areas.
Just keep searching and you will come across it, and maybe even some old Target exclusives.

They saved me neither time or money. I broke even, or maybe even spending a little more than I would at retail. You think this is a good thing? You're mistaken. If scalpers would not hoard these things, I wouldn't need to hunt for them. I had no choice because of the way the Targets in my area work. They are beyond sucky. I read all these threads of Targets in most other parts of the US getting these things while mine still have bare shelves. So it is also my area Targets faults too for being so dang lazy. This guy provided me with a product and a service. That is not a debate. What is the debate is the morality and ethics of HOW he provides that product and service. But this thread is not intended to debate that. That is reserved for the Scalpers Thread, not here.
I've been watching ebay, and Jazz has been selling pretty well at $12+ not including shipping. This is the first one that I did not have to compete with other bidders outbidding me, which is why I am pleased.

dude, i'm with you on the "against scalpers" stand on the OTHER thread.
but i guess, strictly speaking (IMHO, mind you) this guy you bought the jazz with couldn't technically be called a "scalper" unless he/she sold it for $32 (which was the GOING PRICE for 08 BB of that poster who tried to justify the starting bid of $18 for a G1 jazz...). i see scalpers as people who not only hoard up TFs but also charge exorbitant prices for them. selling it at almost $12 a pop (oh, i mean starting the bid) isn't so bad.
think of this seller as a "shrewd businessman", whatever the others call it on that other thread.

btw, congrats on getting that fig at that price. if that seller you bought that with is a genuine scalper, i guess he/she must be feeling awful by not getting any profits at your sale. LOL.

all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

I will be putting up Gundam models for auction on Eba soon. Gundam Wing ones. You might already have them, or don't want them, but I just thought I'd tell you just in case.

No thanks, I stick with the figures, due to my ineptitude for such things as modelbuilding:P
Good luck though

No glue required, and the pieces are already painted. Sticker sheet too. But I understand.

Very goo point. You're right.

Actually, yes, that's true. He was rather fair, and doesn't have a ton of auctions of the same figure like some others seem to. He did have a few though.

Thanks. He has sold G1 Target Starscreams for $36-38 dollars, but that is from buyers bidding the prices up. And he has had a few G1 Jazzes sell for $16-20 dollars a piece. That's before shipping costs. So I think I did alright. He got his asking price, so he shouldn't be too upset.
