I think the book style Disney BR's afre a Target thing? Before they jumped ship from Canada I did get a Little Mermaid book BR. I have a couple different Lebowski Steelbooks, and that book style BR. That's one of my top ten all time favs.

So, Masterpiece bingo continues. This was a big one, mainly a big pain the ass :lol:

. I didn't really want him. Hell, I've been collecting MP's since MP1 and I skipped MP4 because I didn't want him even back then. On top of that, he is freakin expensive. But I nabbed this fella from another nice local for only 300 CAD. The absolute lowest he'd be online is 400 CAD, so I'ma call this a win. I think the next most difficult MP on the list will be MP4S #-o

I remember seeing the 20th anny at walmart way back when I didn't know squat about TF figs and was broke like a joke (well couldn't afford what seemed like a ridiculous price at the time). Now I know slightly more than squat and would snap him up without a second thought. Huh, how times change. :-?

I'll tell ya, I'm pretty shocked. I mentioned before how I'm collecting all MP's now (Hasbro and Takara), so there's some backtracking at hand. There's 2 (3 kinda) Hasbro versions of MP1 and I figured they'd be cheapish. But ho ho man.... they ain't. And I never bought them initially because I had an un-scarred fully stacked Takara MP1. Looking now though, I'ma end up spending probably 600ish getting those Hasby MP1's #-o

Alright, time to get real y'all. Buyer beware.....

I didn't examine that MP4 until I got home. The guy was from a local FB group, and seemed nice and trustworthy. The listing said "mint, never transformed". And when I met him, he said "mint" like 9 times while talking to him. I got a little background on him though, he is a TF fan, but acquired this MP4 from a deadbeat roommate, so he wasn't the original owner.

I opened him up last night, and this thing is certainly not mint. He has many paint chips, chrome wear I've only seen on a heavily played with G1, and is loose. If I had to guess, it was probably a childs plaything. Needless to say, I'm pretty choked.

Honestly though, I think the guy genuinely thought it was in good shape. He didn't strike me as "hardcore" and me previously being a comic collector I think gives me a keener eye than the average collector. Silver lining however, the box is not in terrible shape, he has all paperwork, and the trailer actually is mint! So really, the MP1 himself isn't all that important since I already have one. Only thing is, I woulda paid a hundred bucks less if I had know the actual condition. *sigh*

That Delta Magnus is a beauty. Do you think it'll be possible to buy the alternative faces that come with it on eBay or something? I really want the blue "goggle" eyes for my Magnus.

Pretty much. MP is my main focus, but I collect pretty much all TF's. And yeah, the Gold MP1 would be nice, but I doubt I'll ever find one, let alone in my price range 8-}
