Serious question though since I don't see anyone talking about it, has Leader Starscream shown up at retail? That figure might explain the lack of a coronation set with the MP

Yes, I believe scalpers have taken your time here like they take your money by you discussing them. Undeservedly. I'm not saying you can't do it, but I do think you shouldn't. Nothing illegal or even immoral, they're just simply aren't worth the time.

Now, onto Starscream. I finally spotted 1 at my local TRU, and was wondering how he was, if he was superior to the other release, etc. I'm thinking about picking him up if he's still there tomorrow. I have a Takara Sunstorm with the coronation kit, would that fit this Starscream? I never pictured Sunstorm wanting it.

Yes, pick it up asap. He is indeed superior to every other release so far (better paint apps and more solid build). And the coronation gear will fit.
