Does anyone have opinions regarding which TFA Optimus Prime toy you like better... Voyager or Supreme?

Judging from what I've seen, they both have their pros and cons.

I'm just getting the Voyager, one.

I'm gonna get just the one in the 2 pack for opening.

The Voyager one is just gonna be stashed away with the majority of this line and saved for future resale.

I'll be going with the Voyager version, the leader version looks a little to gimmicky with auto transformation feature.

I agree about gimmicks in general... I mean the things transform! Isn't that enough of a gimmick?

I don't like this automorph trend at all. I like to do the transforming myself, not to mention at least half on my movie figures that have automorph don't work properly.

Y'know I was kinda thrilled when I heard Supreme Optimus would be both the biggest Optimus ever and have an automatic transformation. I mean, there's been huge advances in robotics in recent years, it's really only a matter of time before Hasbro or Takara do a genuine transformer robot. I thought this could've been a first step in that direction.

Like Ultimate Bumblebee had rudimentary animatronics, so why not?

But then I saw the videos. The proportions on this figure aren't great, and the gimmick looks pretty lame. I'd call it a 'spinmaster'. It's pretty ridiculous. I dunno, the only way I can see getting him is if I'm totally desperate for a fix, and I got the money in my pocket.

I don't think there's anything Supreme about this Prime. Except maybe his butt.

he more of a supreme tonka toy 2 me.

I do give him props 4 one thing......his alt mode look jus like his toon counterpart which i think look stupid 2 me so i stick with the 2pack and voyager version 2 buy

It's actually the show-accuracy that bothers me about both voyager & supreme primes.

The supreme toy has the awesome rocket-powered axe, but that's about the only thing I like about him.

The voyager toy seems to have better proportions and a better alt mode, but I seriously hate his weapons (the butterfly axe and the squirt gun thingie).

If they sold voyager prime with a show-accurate axe, I would be all over that.

Voyager. Supreme is not worth 50 bucks.

Voyager, Supreme has a Titanic rear-end.

yeah... a show-accurate rocket axe (which is starting to look like the only good thing about supreme prime) is totally not worth $50!

Voyager + Better artticulation
Leader + Better axe
Leader - bad articulation

I think I'm with Liege Evilmus for the write-in 2-pack deluxe option. I do like the voyager, though... so I may change my mind and go for it if I find out they're releasing a voyager Earth Megatron. (Are they? )

I'll get the Voyager class version, and probably 2 of them.

The Supreme is in no way worth it.
And won't that be closer to costing $60-$70?
I think Hasbro will try and really milk it, not just because of the size, but that gimmick is a new one.

One reason to go with the deluxe Prime:

Megatron is feckin' huge in comparison(!): No way you'd get that size contrast with voyager Optimus.

Good point (which is one thing I kinda love about TFA... when the 'cons do show up, it's a BIG DEAL and the 'bots are totally terrified of them)!

Plus, deluxe 2-pack prime has a show-accurate axe!!! I'm thinking the deluxe 2-pack and voyager prime will be on my shopping list (along with leader megatron)

Yeah, the show poses some tricky decisions for those concerned with scale. But they all look pretty good anyway and I probably won't be able to resist getting most of them, including some of the multiple scale versions.
