The best custom movie Prime ever??? Beats me.
Hello All,
This is CREG Customs jumping on board. I wanted to post a Prime I have had finished for some time now but am getting ready to post on ebay. Before... he's ~sniff~ gone forever, I would like a little feedback from you guys.
My goal was simple. Make the best looking Leader class optimus Prime ever to hit the internet.
Did I make it? Does it suck? Let me know!

the face could use a bit more work, but other than that it is exactly like his movie robot mode.
one other thing, you should try to make that huge blaster he had

Apart from the spindly neck I say he looks awesome!

Thanks for mentioning that Auto Bot. He does not transform. The truck mode looks greeat in the original version (except for lacking in a few paint app's) so I wanted to make a version that looked spot on in robot mode.
The "face" head looks better in person seeing that it was magnified about 3 times or so in that pic.
About the neck... It is too skinny from eye level but it has a great range of motion.
Thanks guys! Keep it coming.

My only point was going to be about the head but you addressed that and I understand how lighting and a macro pic can make things look that way. Great work CREG!

I like how the back was done. Much better than the original toy.

The paint on his face looks alittle dry, like it wasn't watered down enough. The general look, seems ok; except the above mentioned neck.

The best ever is really a matter of opinion and taste. It is certainly a good custom and very accurate to the movie.
Personally I prefer this one though...

Just a matter of taste, that's all.

For the thin paint comment - it was thin enough. The actual area around the nose and mouth are actualy rough when you are up that close to him. It's hard (for me) to smooth that small of an area.

Thanks again,

Thats an awesome prime. Quite movie accurate. And welcome to seibertron.
I thinks this is in the wrong forum. There is a kitbash forum for custom TFs here somewhere.

I told Bay, Prime will look good in red. He didn't care to listen. Now see what a beauty a red Prime is. (scroll up 3 message boxes)
Isn't that some sort of a special issue toy?

Thank you. I guess I should have digged around a little more first. If I find it I'll repost.

That one isn't. It's someone's custom, and I agree that Prime should have looked like that....

Personally, I think its amazing. I could care less if it Transforms. The detail is awesome and getting face anymore precise would take pure mechanical ability to do it. I love that it has two heads like MP Screamer and the scaled wheels really add to the realism.
Bravo Greg, definately one of the best customs I've seen yet.
BTW...

Wow... thank you very much. I always thought the size of the wheels made him look too bulky.
I love the warning. Thanks for the heads up!
