I actually watched the episode of transformers animated that had the head master so i would know why leader bulkhead came w/ it. In one frame optimus had a trailer hoes anyone know what trailer fits on deluxe animated prime? I have one loose I bought off ebay from china before they were released in the us.

Hasbro has said that they have plans on making an animated Prime with a trailer, but so far no further info on it or pictures have surfaced

The animators I guess never could make up their minds on how they wanted Prime to look. so there were always these discrepancies where he would have the trailer at one point and then it was gone the very next scene. Or would arrive somewhere with the trailer, do something transform back and the trailer would not return, and he;d leave without it. Unlike G1 where his trailer magically appeared out of nowhere when he transformed back into truck mode every time.

In animated it kind of just disappears, only to return in a different episode, or maybe for a second in another scene etc...

As for an actual toy with a trailer, I really don't know. I seem to recall a point where they said Prime would get no trailer, only Voyager Prime's axe folded up to look like part of his trailer.

Technically it does transform. Just not into a Robot.

Totally Agree. The only exception to that are M.A.S.K toys which don't have robot modes rather attack modes but they are still very cool and very rare.

yes i agree i have bootlegs of the entire series on dvd i had boulder hill and others but i lot them years ago
