The Energon Pub

So after being away from Cybertron for 6 years, I see lots of changes as far as transformer lines, new interesting molds etc. This time my plan is to narrow down collecting focus on masterpiece and Henkei (but I think henkei is replaced with generation and this line is somehow not too appealing to me). Anyhow, I made a stop by TRU today and saw MP-01 Acid Storm, snatched it, came home and unboxed......the horror. The quality has to be the worst I've seen so far. The plastic feels like a mix of cheap plastic and paper that can snap with the slightest touch. I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same or it's just me being away from it for too long. Also how are other materpieces released by TRU as far as quality? Soundwave etc.....

soundwave is good, I have both Hasbro and takara versions. yes acid storm seems kind of "cheap" but that is not the norm. personally I feel buying the takara version is worth the extra bucks, they are just better...
