I was in Wal-Mart a few days ago and I saw a Universe Onslaught. I have him already, but my damn ADD took over and I had to push the button. I was :shock:

when it played the full wailing siren insted of the "chirp". The next day I opend him up and was :shock:

again to see the leg cage issue was resolved. It looks like Hasbro decreased the size of that gear well just a bit, and the the pegs on the cage were lengthened.

And now I'm really glad I haven't bought him yet. Of course, the problem now is: how do I know if the one I'm looking at is the improved version or not?

Thats easy Sledge, All you need to do is press the button and activate the siren.

If it continues for longer than a single chirp then you have the new one.

Interesting, I got mine as soon as he came out and I haven't really had any issues with the legs. As for the siren, I could care less. I take the batteries out as soon I open the figure. It is good to know they are making running changes though.
