The hell with that. I'm more interested in #5. I mean, just look at it! That's the most pathetic parody of the human form I have ever seen. :?

#3 is a knock-off Tf that's been out since the 80's, packaged under the name of alternator.

You will sometimes have them come up if you search for alternators on ebay.

Big time crap.

I have that one and the car. I also remember a jet that looked like an F-15.

Well, since Tomy and Takara are merged, I'll live.

But crap? Dude, the thing frickin' walks. Your Tf's can't even do that.

Getter..what's the point of a jumpstarter that doesn't...um..jumpstart?

Anyhow, until I find the topic or find out myself, his name is Zoomy and he'll be from planet Whoosh.
I got nothin'.

It was a toy that was release by Esso (Gas Station) or McDonald's back in the 1980's. I have seen them around in antiques shops up here for $10 MIB. I will try to find the tread. I think they are worthless though. I had several and gave them away. You and transform them and make them walk also, while the wheels spin two little pegs come out and make it walk.

Yeah, definitely from Mc Donald's. I remember them fairly well. There's four of them. That one there (the saucer), a race car, a jet, and another (who I forget). They all share the same colour scheme and little symbol.

They also can all "walk" in robot mode with the same wind up mechanism that cycles the little white feet under them back and forth. They can all "drive" in vehicle mode by being pulled back with the wind up engine.

If I can find mine (somewhere), I'll show the set (unless someone beats me to it).

Actually... I'm not sure where these guys are from, but I've had the four of them for quite a long while. Cute and fun little guys, aside from two of them only having real faces.

Galaxy_Convoy beat me to posting pics of the others, but since I went to the trouble to take them, I'll post these anyway... Funny enough the one I couldn't find was the space ship shown on that site.

I'm still sure they were from Mc Donald's...

The Esso robots were higher quality. I've got about 8 of those ones around somewhere...

You know I think I have that one... And a white and blue one of simialr design (legs flipping). Very interesting, I also had those Mc Donalds tranforming drinks, burgers and fries.

I love those guys! Me and my cousins had a whole bunch of them growing up. They're lame, but so cool, like a lot of nostalgic things. :D
