Voyager Blackout? Actaully deluxe Blackout!

Take the tail off this thing and you got a deluxe version robot. The toy does no real justice for the real character, hopefully they will come out with a leader class soon.

Besides being small it's sort of a sucky toy to boot. I don't know why so many people praise the toy for being the best of the movie line. It's going to be a major pegwarmer.

I agree, bring the leader (or even larger) blackout on.

compare the tf, design and articulation to dx bumblebee or brawl. then say he is not worth the pricetag.

My goodness, some of ya'll like to gripe on just about anything it seems. No offense intended, but jeez. BB's feet are too big, Ironhide isn't red, Blackout is not tall enough, Bonecrusher's automorph sucks, etc, etc, etc.

These movie figures actually were a big part (the Classics line was the other big part) that brought me back to Transformers. They're not going to be perfect, but compared to a lot of previous Transformers, they rock. Very detailed, interesting and challenging transformation, and the look very unique. Okay, so they're not to scale, but since when were Transformers ever truly to scale? Unicron and Primus would be a few blocks wide at least. That's a lot of plastic. Metroplex would take up your entire backyard, and so one, and so on. Toys will always have their flaws of some kind. These movie things seem to have very few. At least for me they do. :)

Blackouts height does seem a little glaring when all of his profiles state that he is the largest of the decepticons on earth.

Now don't get me wrong I am not trying to say "Oh doesn't have the same colour scheme, not getting it."

Just a question... easy there.

I don't think he's going to be a 'warmer at all. He's sold out in every local Wal-Mart near me. (3 to be exact)

Ratchet, now he covets the award for shelfwarmer. Which is a shame, he's a great figure and a worthy collection addition.

I think what throws everyone off about this line is that it's fully balanced. It has an equal mix of good and bad to each figure. (Which I guess is good? I dunno...)

Screw Leader Class Blackout...I want to see a Supreme version. I want him large enough that you could actually store the Deluxe Skorponok in his tail. That, and he would actually be in scale with the rest of the 'Cons.

Blackout is a good figure, but he does have some issues. I love the way he looks, and his altmode is the best(and most realistic) helicopter in a decade. Nice head sculpt, too. I just hate the whole tripodal way of having to stand him.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

MISP preferred, but will consider opened NM/Complete, especially for older figures. Lots of TFs for trade! Please PM any inquiries, serious interest only!

i wouldnt agree about the tripod my blackout stands perfectly without the tail and infact when using the rotors as a handheld (and shoulder mounted) weapon.
Capable of a lot of differnt poses really

I think that I just bought him too early...the leg joints on mine are pertty loose, so it is very hard for me to pose him without having the tail touch. I agree that he has far more posability potential than he looks; I've had him in some very convincing poses.

Yeah, he is small for a voyager but he is one of the best designs. I really like the black on the helicopter representing a dirty airframe. Robot mode is awesome too.

I'll forgive the scale issues. They never bothered me before.

Blackout's normal Voyager size in chopper mode. He just loses a lot of plastic to the size of his weapon, but it's forgivable since he's fun. I got the Blackout and Scorpy two-pack, and it's a good buy for that price.

The mini-scorpy drop is fun. Bug bomb!

I wouldn't mind a Leader sized version of him, but I'm pretty happy with the Voyager. Now if we could get a Voyager Bonecrusher I'd be much happier.

Voyagers do seem to be getting smaller and smaller, Both Ironhide and Blackout do not look as big as Vector Prime and Dark Crumplezone.

However I think both of the movie bots have more detailing and articulation than Dark Crumplezone, but Vector Prime beats them both in that aspect, his easy Transformation though probably made him easier to make.

Ratchet seems to be the only Voyager figure who bucks the "getting smaller" trend.

Just what I was thinking. If he IS the largest, then damnit, he should get a Leader-class figure!

If Hasbro cared at all about scale, this is how the toys and there scales might look:

Leader :
Blackout

Voyager :
Optimus Prime
Megatron
Bonecrusher
Brawl
Starscream

Deluxe :
Ironhide
Ratchet
Bumblebee
Barricade
Scorponok
Jazz(if not basic)

but that probably wouldn't be very popular

To say that Blackout is a deluxe is a tad on the utterly retarded side.

Yeah he's got a realtivly small robot mode, but he's gonna look damn stupid in alt mode with out the bits that 'make him a voyager'....

As for griping about everything, well no one's gonna like everything, and for the record, the movie line is a HORRIBLE toy line. Bring back Cybertron! Bring on Animated!

Not quite,Ironhide and Rachet are bigger than deluxes. If I designed the movie line these would be the scale.

Voyager
Ironhide
Rachet

Deluxe
Jazz
Bumblebee

Oh I agree with that, I just didn't include the Ultras. That size class can really add some better scale. And nice ideas with the humans.
