Wanting Some Advice on Movie Figures...

Of the 16 Movie figures in my humble 43 fig. collection, I have yet to open one.
This evening at Walmart, for whatever reason, when I picked up Stockade, I grabbed another Wreckage.
Tomorrow once I compare the paint apps, packaging, etc., one of those will be opened.
I think I've just unlocked the door to buying a few more Movie figs. to open.

I have a friend who has also collected some of these, and he's opened all of his(so I've transformed all of his) , so I have a good basis (for me) for the figures I don't think I'll be opening, and probably won't buy another one of.
These are:

Nightwatch O.P.
Metallic Megatron
Blackout
Voyager Prime
Offroad Ironhide
Barricade
Protoform Prime
Classic BB
'08 BB

The ones that I'm now questioning on buying a second of:
Bonecrusher (if I ever see him again)
Deluxe Brawl (haven't seen him for a while either)
Landmine
Stockade
And I know I'm going to open the Reg. Voyager Megatron and try my first repaint.

From either/both lists, any words of advice on which to buy a second of to open, and which to not bother with????

Thanks in advance!!

I think you need to at least be able to play around with a leader Prime or Nightwatch Prime and '08 BB. Considering the scarcity of the latter, maybe a Cliffjumper since the transformations on both of these figures are rewarding.

I'm not sure what you are exactly going to do with them once they are out of the package(for display, for actual playing, for friends to talk to at night....kidding), but the 2 I listed, along with Ironhide(since you cannot really appreciate him unless you see his robot mode) and Bonecrusher(ditto on that, plus he looks so *different) I would say are absolute MUSTS to have to actually take out of the package.

I have to warn you, once you start with those, you'll probably buy all the other figures all over again to actually transform!

I agree with No Death for Prowl, open up Leader class prime and BB 08. If you can't find BB 08, Cliffjumper will do.
Get Jazz too. he's a solid figure.

I think you should liberate them all! Come on their screaming to be set free. I open everything, but to each their own. I figure if I wanted to make an investment I would buy some stocks or bonds, I collect these because they bring me enjoyment, no other reason.

Thanks for the replies...
Sat. evening my stupid modem stopped working, and I've been geekin' to see responses.

Anyway,
I really would like to get another Nightwatch, but don't know if I want to spend the $$.
I've already transformed my friend's '07 BB and Ironhide... So I'm not itchin' as much for those.

I would definitely pick up another Bonecrusher, and
potentially another Landmine and Stockade.

And I just saw a bunch of the Jazz figures last time I was at Walmart, so if I see him again, maybe I'll snag him.

What about Dropkick and Longarm??
Are those any good?
Dropkick looks kinda funky in bot mode.

I'm pretty much keeping myself in check by periodically looking over my wish list of Animated figures... That's gonna get freakin' pricey!!!!
Especially when you add on the 5 Universe figures that I want 2 of on top of that!!!!

Both are very good figs. Dropkick does have the chicken-leg thing, but he's got tons of cool molded details and nice poseability.

Longarm is the man- great poseability, tough robot mode, and the gun can be easily removed from his right hand (one screw) and pegged onto his left, or used as a shoulder cannon or a free-standing gun. His feet take a little practice to get them how you like them for best stability, but he's an excellent Dlx. If you can find the movie Battle Scenes version, he has more movie-accurate markings. HTH, enjoy!

Thanks a lot, that does help.
There's a good chance I'll pick up both of those... Maybe use the ToysrUs deal online.
I will definitely get them if I skip on Jolt, Grindcore, and/or Big Daddy.

I really want to be done with the Movie line...
All I have left is:

Deep Space SS
and then the maybe's:
Longarm
Dropkick
Jolt
Big Daddy
Grindcore
a 2nd Bonecrucher, Landmine, and Stockade
and maybe Jazz (never picked him up)
