Yeah, Mega is now Voyager. I admit I've been out of the TF scene for several years, and I only found this out a few days ago on the Teletraan Wiki. Explains why my Classics Optimus Prime isn't as big as I thought he'd be, even at a $20 price tag. I wanted Ultra!

Now that you mention it, I do miss the Ultra size class.

The last ultra class i bought, Cybertron Menasor, still rocks pretty hard. But i'm still puzzled why movie Bonecrusher or Blackout or whoever deserves it get the class they deserve. And i still think Cybertron Quickmix shoulda got ultra-sized. :P

Ultra class still rocks.

Because Bonecrusher would be too scary in Ultra size. Plus, with him being smaller there's only more for him to hate!

Ultras are due to make a reappearance in next year's Universe line, although Voyagers will be dropped from that line. From what Hasbro said at Botcon they want to continue using both price points but not in the same line. Cybertron may be the last line that we see for the time being with both classes present, from then on Classics, Movie and Animated get the Voyagers and Universe gets the Ultras. How long this remains Hasbro's strategy of course waits to be seen.

What this adds up to is that the next Ultras that we should be seeing are Octane and (with any luck) Galvatron and Magnus some time next back end.

I really hope that we see a return to some proper Basics with the Universe line rather than the Minicons that got lumped in with Classics or the Real Gear from the movie. If they updated the Insecticons as modern Basics I'd buy swarms of the little blighters.

Weapon: Air Rifle
Didn't the old ultra class include electronics?

Yeah, I'd love to have insecticons, Reflector, the bot minicars and so on and so forth make an appearance in Universe.
