Titanium 6" War Within Prime. It's floppy and fragile and mine broke, so now one of his arms swings around loose. Not even worth trying to return and replace. Bleh.

Damnit i like the two you both mentioned.
Mines a tie between Armada sideswipe and Energon Optimus.
The both have a horrible robot mode with massively broken proportions.

And I like Energon Optimus. His little vehicles are nice updaes to Roller. (I call them, in numerical order, Hot Roller, High Roller, Low Roller, and Wave Roller.) Plus, he looks cool combined with Wing Saber. That was enough to get me to forgive the weak smaller robot mode.
Armada Sideswipe I don't think is great, but I'm more forgiving of than most people too... He had nice weapons and fun gimmicks.
I think the worst one I own, though, is Built To Rule Thundercracker, who just wouldn't stay together so now he's in a plastic bin disassembled.

My Build Team Grimlock is pretty awful. In some ways I like that he's kind of zombie/scorpion looking, but he doesn't stand well and his arms are just a mess. His face bugs me for some reason too. Plus, how can you be that sorry looking and steal a name like Grimlock?

But thats the whole point Optimus Prime shouldn't need to combine with either drones or other Transformers in order to defeat his enemies he should be powerfull enough on his own. The fact that Energon Optimus Prime needed to combine with his Drones in order to battle Energon Megatron is a disgrace to Optimus Prime, Megatron certainly didn't need to combine with anyone or anything and as far as the toy goes since this is the topic, Energon Prime by himself with out the Drones sucked hence the term Fatimus Prime. Anyways he is not the worst figure that Hasbro has come out with, I would have to say the Rid Gas Skunk was, just a horrible toy no matter how you sliced it.Nemesis Primal wrote:MegaDave wrote:Damnit i like the two you both mentioned.

Yeah, ever since that Powermaster thing he just hasn't been pulling his own weight. Those gestalt-team slackers are a bad influence on him.

Seriously, though, that's a problem with the SHOW, not the TOY. Where the toys are concerned, Super Mode tends to be an excuse to keep including a trailer. Besides, if a Super Mode is reason enough for you to dismiss a toy offhand, you'll miss out of the sweetness that is Classics Jetfire. (finally got one last week, whoo!)

Jetfire's isn't so much a Supa-Mode, as much as bolt on armor. It's not a trailer he combines with or suddenly summons, it's more like stuff back at base he bolts on for the heavy-duty missions.
As for toys I actually own that I hate... well, Energon Insecticon was a HUGE let-down. He looked pretty durn awesome with his chunky proportions, then I discovered he was durn near a G1 throwback in articulation.
MP Starscream was also disappointing, but in a different way. There were too many teeny-weeny bits and pieces you had to flip and twist to transform him, and half of them feel like they'll break off while transforming him, and others are so tight I have to get a screwdriver to flip them. Needless to say, I might transform him once every few months, then set him somewhere for a long time.

I haven't opened many of my Transformers but out of the ones I have opened I hate Cybertron Blurr the most.

Armada Hot Shot - waste of plastic
Armada Sideswipe - ditto
Energon Prime - Narrowly beats out Armada Super Prime as the worst OP ever.

Armada Laserbeak wasn't worth the Playdough colored plastic they made it from. How low can the mighty fall? Pretty damn far, but no farther than that.

B-but... what about the "Stompy Stompy"?!

bahahahaha jk jk. I like the character so the toy doesn't bug me.
My least fave (since I really don't bother with figs if I "hate" them...), would have to be a tie between C. Override and Arm. Sideswipe. Sideswipe... is almost self-explanitory, but Override, that spring-loaded assembly that makes up her chestplate is just crappy. Doesn't stay put half the time in vehicle mode and... Well it's just a shoddy mold.
Oh, and E. Hotshot. I severely dislike his head sculpt and the fact it's not articulated... his shoulders are pretty shoddy, too, for that matter...

it all depends on what you mean by hated TF figure
if you mean a toy of a particular character, I suppose mine would be G1 wheelie. How can that annoying pleb of a character actually get a toy? waste of good plastic and a mold
if you mean bad molds of toys, then I'd say again that prize would go to Energon Prime. Overweight, crap articulation and just plain ugly. Prime with hair rollers????
Hated mold because of overuse? I wouldn't say i hated it, but i'm starting to get annoyed with the overuse of the bruticus mold. He's been reused alot for universe and RiD...but why no G1 reissue?
