Its not a bad idea and I'd volunteer to help out as staff for the Video section too, but the technical aspect of it, is what worries me.
How to compress and code the video to something distributable.
We would not like a 200Mb video that's only 5 minutes long, because it wasn't compressed. Or a video format that can only be played by the submitters Camera.
And we would need some kind of centralized video player, like Youtube has so that visitors don't need to have every single codec and video player ever produced installed on their system to watch the reviews.

Probably just easier to use youtube and have something of a button that links to our youtube account like the msn button and yahoo button on the profile bar, if they can make a skype one then it probably be easy enough to make a youtube button.Overcracker wrote:Its not a bad idea and I'd volunteer to help out as staff for the Video section too, but the technical aspect of it, is what worries me.

Ryan asked for the urls of my current reviews, so I believe he'll be embedding the code from Youtube into individual pages.
