Nope Rinox, it was Glyph who is the female repaint of Bumblebee, not Bugbite. This can be supported by every site including Siebertron.com. Bugbite is a guy.

Bugbite is an homage to a Gobot character who was a he. Though his one appearance in the cartoon is a none speaking part as far as I know. TFU, Wikipedia, and BWTF, all state its a male characters, as do the few Gobot sites I can find which talk about the original Gobot character. No where have I ever seen it referenced as a she except in this thread.

Mind posting a link to where your getting this information that its a she?

TFU doesn't say anything about bugbite at all, wikipedia has never actually had anything correctly, and BWTF does make mistakes, but like i said, let's let botcons specs do the talking,i can be wrong,i'm not denying that.

Ben does make mistakes, but its fairly rare. And for the most part I find Wikipedia fairly accurate. Not 100% but it gets it right a good amount of the time. Your righ about TFU though, thought I saw it on there when I was searching for references. However the original character was still a male. And Botcon has yet to give any indication about this version to differ with its namesake.

Just saw the official pic of Bug Bite on the botcon site, and it looks just like Bumblebee except it is white with purple tribal trim...I'd have to say that it is a "HE".
"Megatron, is that you?!!"

"Here's a HINT!"....KABOOM!!!
