If I remember correctly the Japanese Battle Beasts or what ever they were called were actually related to TFs in some way. I'm too lazy to open the TF Wiki right now.

I've been meaning to dig in my box of old stuff and see if I have have the BB Space Lion. I don't remember having that one necessarily, but it looks crazy familiar. I might or might not

The problem is that I'm going run across my M.U.S.C.L.E. men and then down the rabbit hole I go.....

D, Artfire is the only other MP I'm after so far this year. After I read your post about ordering him I went searching. He's sold out at my regular import site, So now I have to explore other options.

I have a box of those fools in Mom's attic some were. I bet I even have some of the trash cans they came in. I also had the wrestling arena, but if I recall it broke from one to many THROW DOWNS!

This post seems a lot creepier when for a minute you don't know 'MUSCLE' is referring to toys instead of actual muscles...

I say go TFsource. That's where I got MP Prime, CW Thundercracker, Roadbuster, Alpha Trion, and Astrotrain. They are pretty swell. Plus, you don't have to pay for the pre-order and you can cancel all the way up till it's in stock.

Course you probably knew that, but i wanted to sound intelligent and helpful. Plus I dunno how $140 sounds to you, but to me it's ok. But again, you import so...

My focus was very narrow circa 1987, Cobo! At ten years old, I think I was more into video games at this point, so missed out on the Battle Beasts -- but then again, as a TF fundamentalist early on, I wouldn't have considered them as related to TFs since they didn't transform -- like the Pretenders (especially Bludgeon & Octopunch!), I'd totally go for them now.

I knew about the Beastformers originating from Headmasters, only thanks to tfwiki and my curiousity around Daburu.

I had good experiences with them. They fixed and reverse my order of the Bruticus add on kit when I accidentally ordered 2 and the free shipping is over $150, which no other site has basically. So when the time comes I'll fill out the last $10.01, hopefully with a movie toy

P.S. D-Max, I do appreciate the advice, and you DID sound very smart. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I still need to swallow the money pill of preordering Primal and another one of those Diaclone Power Suits today. For me Artfire is ALL about that deco. The Target Master is a pretty sweet bonus too.

Yeah, I'm thinking about the money pill too. MP Movie Bee is on my list, and 2 MP's fairly close to one another may be tough, especially since I graduate right before Artfire comes out

Their customer service is very good actually. They just have very specific rules about cancelling orders that some people can't seem to work around. It's all in black and white. They ship based on weight like everyone else (still higher than BBTS) and orders over $150 ship free. The catch here is that they do not combine vintage and new orders for those totals.

Yeah, I like his tm, not his head mode, wish hasbro painted them, but we give them flack for what is ostensibly a ton of extra unique parts they have to make... still blue on his legs and arms and black on his eye patch would go a long way to making him the coolest tm to date, alongside sawback and shuffler.

On to TWINFERNO (his name should always be italicized, bolded and all caps) I love his beast mode - not digging the hair, he would have been cooler as an all mechanical dragon mech - he really seems like he's the lovable oaf that tries super hard at everything, and just wants to be your friend... I can't help but like him, he does have a ton of character

My bro and I had Doublecross as kids and I always thought those hairy muscle legs were so weird.
Now I just think they're hilarious because they're so weird and out of place.

I guess I let it slide because of nostalgia for the strange and grotesque childhood memories.
