I need to know if their heads are comparable in size.
I'm trying to expand my Classics, and had planned on a repaint of Cyb. DS as WJ, but that translucent orange in the head bugs me. I found a guy who casts translucent blue pieces for Alt. WJ's head, and was hoping I could stick them in DS's...
Anyone? Help?

If u want himn to look like a bobble head then it would be perfect, otherwise no.
Try energeon downshift instead, u dont even need to kitbash him.
P.s. this is in the wrong forum!

The size difference is too noticeable. c'mon Downshift is a Deluxe, while Alt's are about the size of a voyager. No way do they match up.

Buuuut....this isn't a thread about kitbashing, artwork or fan fiction. It's about the toys. That's all. Nothing more. My reason is something else, but I put it in this forum for a reason.

Umm...that's why I asked. Because I don't have them both.
Can a mod close this, now that my question has been (rudely) answered?

Like GrimSqueaker said, Energeon Downshift's head should fit. The overall app is a bit lighter and the translucent bits are red instead of orange. The whole back of his head is transparent, though.

I was hoping to go for a Dreamwave/IDW look with blue optics/ears. Like I said, there's a guy who makes such a thing for the Alt. head.
Are the Energon and Alt. heads close enough in scale?

From my (rather poor) memory, I'd say Alt WheelJack's head is bigger than either Energon or Cybertron WheelJack.
I'd say the best thing to do is see if you can paint the piping with translucent blue paint.
I know people have done this with Classics Meg's head, but I'm not how it works exactly.
Sorry, that's the best I can do!
