I too learnt much of what I now know about Transformers from the senior members of this board (and others), and I'm still getting help and info from other members, it's part of what makes this community one of the better ones out there.

Yeah, we older members are awesome. There's a few legendary new members who will rank among the same elite as Counterpunch and Burn in the future, from the looks of it. But what gets on my wick is new members coming in, trying to tell you everything you know is wrong, everything they know is right, and they start trying to tell you how to behave, etc, because they're older, or somethin. That's annoying.

I have to admit that it took me a few weeks to really start to like this forum. I just needed to settle in, I guess. Not everyone on here is particularly friendly, but no forum with more than 50 people ever is. I'm definitely a newbie time-wise, but I've racked up a decent amount of posts already. I'm also a newbie at loving Transformers, but you wouldn't know it talking to me. Any big arguements I've had with anyone on here have been resolved quite well. And that's enough disjointed thoughts for one post.

I'll second that. It's good been in the middle lot too - not quite old enough to be an oldie but nowhere near new enough to be a newbie. Ah, 2005 was a good year.

Though on a serious note, I would hate to imagine I'm somehow responsible for the loss of older forum members. While it is true I probably would not have joined the forum if not for the new movie, I don't have any plans of leaving any time soon just because the fad is going to drop off.
