Factionless Transformers

Postby rideonshootingstarxx » Mon Sep 22, 2008 3:42 pm

Ok, I just registered here because I have to ask this question.
Has there ever been a Transformer that was released as a toy that didn't have a faction?
And I know Sideways technically didn't and I know Primus and Unicron don't and whatever, but I mean a toy who was sold as neither an Autobot/Maximal/Whatever or a Decepticon/Predacon/Vehicon/Whatever. With no faction. And they can't have a had a faction in another media. Absolutely no indication of a faction. And they have to be a toy.
I've searched all over and no luck.
And this question is killing me. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

As far as I know there has not been a "factionless" Transformer released to this day, for the simple reason that, in order to keep things as simple as possible, they're either good (Autobot) or evil (Decepticon).

Aside from Sideways, we've had two other toys with double factions:

- Punch/Counterpunch who was sold as an Autobot Double Agent
- Doubledealer, who was technically factionless, but was sold as a Decepticon.

However, Sideways was the only one with the special combined symbol to this day (not counting the Japanese version of C-Soundwave)
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

Punch/Counterpunch and Doubledealer are awesome, but they definitly have two factions each. And were sold with one. Doubledealer is close though.

The Fallen is, sure enough, it. I'm punching myself for forgetting him.
Or, I guess, forgetting the Titanium line altogether.
:D
Thanks!

Well, the mini-cons are technically neutral.

The Fallen may be factionless but wasn't he sold as a con though for toyline purposes?

The minicons I think of as their own faction.

Nope.

There's no mention on the box of any faction.

Cant speak for the instructions since I cant find them right now.
