Wondered if anyone knew of how or where to find a figure stand that would fit and properly hold MP Megatron? he's such a light and fragile figure compared to the rest, i always fear the day he falls over and possibly breaks. especially with the weight his canon adds.

maybe something like those stands that Sideshow uses for their 12inch dolls. are these or anything similar sold separately anywhere? i just tried ebay and nothing and i'm currently googling to see if anything comes up.

and if nothing exists, is there at least some position he can be placed in that properly distributes his weight and is a solid stance? i mean currently i dont think he'll fall over unless i purposely make him or shake the area but i'm always paranoid. lol

What about trying to create an cardboard throne for him?

Or just a throne in general.

This sounds and looks good from what I can tell, I would however get two or three for extra support, after all the Fusion cannon is massive.

as for that other suggestion of making a throne, that would indeed be cool but i have neither the ability, talent or skill to do such a thing. lol

just shelf him in a lowly sulking position and wait for megatron 2.0

I have the same issue with mine. Overall, I'm not really happy with the look or feel of this figure. I think they could've had his weight balance out better and make his legs wider so he could stand easier. Also, that freaking cannon is HUGE.

I don't know how readily available this might still be... but if you don't mind some third party accessories, you could get the stock and barrel extensions for him. Makes his gun mode look a whole lot more complete, and you can then take all of his accessories to make his Particle Beam Cannon. Giving him that to hold onto while he stands adds a lot of stability for him. (Also, you need to replace the outer panels on his legs to give his gun mode a connection point for the stock extension, and the new panels are die cast, giving the figure more weight in his lower body.)



So in the end, rather then a Megatron who relies on a stand, you could end up with a Megatron with his big-arse cannon -- ready to blow you away if you complain about his Masterpiece figure not being perfect.
