uh-uh, snakebite is beer mixed with cider.
To my snakebite, i add,
Famous grouse
Smirnoff
Irn-bru
Beaver Valley
Its effin awesome.
I just checked wiki, and it appears we are both right, ur one is the main heading mine is a subspieces by the same name-which it notes is ussually dank by counter culter groups such as goths-Since i drink in a goth club alot of the time i guess it makes sense that the lackcurrent version is the one i drink.
Loves me some currents!
I'd call a bulmers ad blackcurrant, a cider and black.
I think u are missing the most important thing abut mixing any drink....its gotta sound cool or why else would ya bother???
taste?
to get drunk?
i'm not gonna drink something becuase it sounds cool. i'll dri nk it becuase i like it.
Sorry i ment why bother mixing two drinks together unless it sounds cool-If i wanted the taste of a snakebite id drink Ribena, if u wanna get truly langered then just drink medical spirits!

While I agree with you about them not tasting very good, Bud, Michelob, Miller, Coors, and others like Natty Light and Busch are all technically lagers, just crappy ones.
Whoever said Sam Adams was swill needs a lesson. While not the best, and I don't think anyone has said it is, it's faaaaaar better then the standard beer offerings that US brewers were making for nearly 50 years. And while Canadian beers can be quite good, the Germans do lagers best.

I've seen History Channel talk about it, it's the oldest brewery in America isn't it? Or something like that. But I've never seen it in person, or know where I could buy it.
It may be exclusive to the Pennsylvannia area I live in Philly and I swear by the stuff.
My gamer tag is PHATEGODPRIME Im too lazy to put the little fancy one here.

mine is about stroking my ego, and although great though i am (and i hate to admit this) there are slighty more people in the world who dig booze, than dig the Squeaker.
But only slightly

Actually, read the name, this thread was about Brews. Not booze, not liquor, not your favorite mixed drinks. But since there seems to be a lot of inexperience with beer out there, many have posted exactly that - booze.

Beer = booze, therefore in a semi-roundabout way, this thread is about booze

It's the best I've had!

I've heard good things about Yuenglings, but it's not sold here either. I know it's available in PA, but every single time I go there, I forget to buy some! Some day I'll remember.
