Weapon: Black Magic
Startropics II: Zoda's revenge
Continuing from where I left, worked my way through the haunted gold mine and defeated the ghost miner at the end, thus earning the next block and clearing the wild west chapter.
Was then transported to Italy, where I had to free Leonardo Da Vinci from becoming a full-size statue of himself. After traversing his basement filled with deathtraps (busy guy, eh?), found a hammer and chisel to break him out. After making some minor changes to the Mona Lisa, was given a Katana to replace my dagger and access to a flying machine which Leonardo build.
Flew to an island castle and survived endless pitfall mazes, finally reaching the location of the block. I collected the block but Zoda-Y made a surprise appearance, sending me to an alternate time zone. I'm now in transylvania.

After getting shot in the ass (Which everyone makes a point of), I've made up a sizable PMC consisting of ladies man and Irishman Ewan, psycho mechanic Eva, and perpetually drunk jet pilot Misha.

Assassin's Creed:
Fought the Templars, then did a bit of information gathering, culminating in me beating the snot out of a guy, then getting my sword a hidden blade back. Stabby stabby!

Just finished this game off yesterday, went a lot faster than I thought it would. Even though this game's got those dated PS1 graphics we all know and love, I still think this is the best Spider Man game to date.

LOL! Ya got me! Although I feel that 8-bit graphics have a certain resonance and life that makes them unique and fun, or funny. PS1 graphics are just kinda blurry and pixelated. We've seen Mega Man return to his 8-bit roots, but I doubt any game in the future will ever be touted as a game that resorts back to PS1 graphics.

Finally passed the 50% mark. About 56% through the game, I think. Finished the Staunton Vigilantes, Firefighters, street races, and I did 50 Taxis, earning me the Borgnine (I loved this one in GTA3, but I had to mod the car colour .ini file since that shade of purple was ugly as hell).

Finished the King Courtney missions, now working for the 'drug pusher in a fancy suit.'

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames:
Phew, where to begin?

Ran some missions for the People Liberation Army of Venezuala (PLAV) and Universal Petrolium (UP), specifically a PLAV mission where I had to flatten an island fortress...*sniff* It's like they knew what I've always wanted...! I...I dunno what to say!

Killed a guy on an oil tanker that happened to be right off the coast of my stolen vista. Definitely did not hurt the re-sale value.

Found Solano's base, and hit it with a Bunker Buster, only for that to fail, and Solano sent his men to kill us (Mattias's desire for a nuclear bunker buster went unheard). No matter, we (By which I mean I) repelled them, and even killed the guy I saved at the beginning.

Solano has been in talks with North Korea, and the Allied Nations (AN) and Chinese forces have arrived, leading to something of a reunion of everyone from Mercenaries 1 except the Russian Mafia.

Assassin's Creed:
In Jerusalem...and man, these guys know security; archers on every other roof top and a city guard on every other corner. Do you know how many fights this has led to? A lot.

Resident Evil 4:
If there's one thing I know, it's that during a Zombie Apocalypse (Which this technically is not, since they're not Zombies) any empty house is filled with free stuff.

Are you playing the Wii version? I tried it at my buddy's place and now I can't go back to aiming with a freakin' controller...

I've found Wii aiming to be a bit easier for shooters than controller or even keyboard and mouse. I didn't like RE4 on PS2 (Never tried the Gamecube version, I dunno if that's different), but it was because I couldn't get the hang of the aiming, and got gangstabbed by not-Zombies very quickly. Wii is much better, but I still don't quite like the lack of strafing. And I really don't like how I can't shoot and move at the same time. But the PS2 version's aiming threw me off the worst, and the Wii version comes off much better.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition:
Met Luis (At least I think it's Luis, I didn't play the PS2 version very far, and I was kind of zoning out during that cutscene), and Saddler. Oh, and Leon got his ass kicked. (Being the go-to guy on Zombies doesn't make you the go-to guy on Los Ganados)

Wii RE4 > all other RE4 versions. Not being able to move while shooting isn't so bad since the guys move so slowly. I can imagine the PS2 aiming sucking really hard. I play with the X630 controller since the PC version has crap controls and no mouse support. #-o Great port, Capcom...

Just because a Zombie moves slowly doesn't mean it's not dangerous, it's that they can take more bullets than the living, and attack in large groups. Especially Los Ganados, which are smarter and somewhat faster than Zombies. And keep killing me with &*$#ing chainsaws! It's like comeuppance for Doom 3.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition:
Chapter 1-3...oh hey, it's chapter based. That's nice. What isn't nice is the goddamn chainsaw guy! Damn him! Maybe I should try shotgun rather than pistol...?

PROTIP: you can push that table thing to block the door. If you have any 'nades or flamenades, roast that sucker. Shotgun his legs to knock him down, then shoot him with your pistol when he's down. He's only a threat when he's up and moving, because when gets all up in your grill, well, you know.

Hand grenade, and then half my supply of shotgun shells, and he's down.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition:
Fought and killed a big ol' lake monster...psh! That was a lot less horrible than I thought it would be. I had to use herbs once, and, hell, those harpoons felt like they did more damage than any of my guns do to a Ganados.

Leon's probably infected...and damn it, he broke the first rule of any Zombie Apocalypse; if someone is infected, kill them, no questions asked, they are not your friend anymore.

Good thing these aren't Zombies.

Fought El Gigante. (I really want to say "an El Gigante," because I'm certain there'll be more...but then again, maybe they thought one would be enough?) It really wasn't so bad, and I came out still pretty much alive. Also, I saved Ashley. Let's get the hell outta here and napalm this place into one big burn mark...what? We can't do that? WHY?! We can nuke Raccoon City, a large American city, because of a few Zombies, but we can't deep-fry some Spanish village for essentially the same reason?!

Ashley's not that bad, not nearly as bad as many other babysitting missions. At least she doesn't go and do whatever she wants, thus getting herself killed. Plus she's pretty cute.

She's supposed to be in university, yet they made her a freakin' sexualized schoolgirl. Lol, Japan. Every chance they get, they try to flash her knickers or have her moan.
