I need price help..

Postby schizophrenica » Sun Oct 14, 2007 6:16 am

I found a classics grimlock mint in box on my local ebay. The starting bid is RM 90.00, which is roughly USD 26.60. Is it worth it? So far there's no bids and bidding ends in about one day. Thanks for any advice in advance

Weapon: Atom-Smasher Cannon
That seems to be the going price. You could find one around $20 if you try hard, but you're only saving $6.

wow, that's pretty pricey. but if it's pretty rare in your area AND you like this mold very much, then i guess by all means go for it.

but remember, there's the Classics 2-pack coming out soon, though i dunno if it's gonna be released here in Asia (you're Malaysian right?) 8)

It is pricey, as they originally retailed at around 10. If you're willing to pay the premium then go for it. But I suggest you read reviews of it first.

Here's one from BWTF:

Hey thanks!! I appreciate the review, now I must have him!! There's only two classic grimlocks currently on my local ebay, and this is the cheaper of the two.

I'm glad to help a neighbor! We're practically neighbors as I'm based in the Philippines myself.

Imma piggybackin on yer threadz! Since I don't want to clutter up the forums with another "What should I expect to pay for..." thread that'll get maybe only two responses that completely answer my question.

What's a decent price for Armada Unicron these days on Evilbay?

I'm looking at one with a "Buy it now" option: loose, complete w/Dead End Minicon & instructions for $55 plus shipping.

You should check the "ebay for dummies" thread, I think there's a discussion somewhere there about the Unicron thing. I believe it's more or less around the price you're stating.

Aww man I was outbid for the grimlock... My bro took me out for lunch and when I came back the bid was over and I lost by 50cents..

However theres another seller that just posted a grimlock... He has cliffjumper also.. I can only afford to get one now. Which one do you guys think is better? The grimlock is RM89 and the cliffjumper is RM79.. It has the buy it now option also.

Between grimlock and Cj? Go for grimlock. CJ is just straight out repaint of Bumblebee, not even a new head sculpt to differentiate the two characters.

I think I'll use the buy it now option. Its the same price as the starting bid anyway
