I need some help with my Nike Shoeformer Convoy

I got my Nike Convoy MISB from BBTS a few weeks ago and much to my horror discovered the stock to his gun was missing. Now BBTS has been great and offered me $20 credit which I accepted. Problem is I'm still stuck with a Convoy without a gun. I've tried a few different avenues but I'm coming to you fine folks of Siebertron for some help. If anyone out there has an extra gun for Convoy, I'd be much appreciated if you could pass it along. I'd be willing to pay for it since all I have to trade is a SDCC LOC Skywarp and a LOC Ramjet. PM me if you can help. To be clear on the part I need it is the rear of the rifle that pegs into Convoy's fist that the barrel then fits into. Thanks so much in advance.

It's not a defective part, it's a missing part; I can't post pics of it. Yeah I just found out today that it's going for an arm and leg on E-bay. Just my luck.

ouch! that sucks.... i dont know whats up these days, but it seems like takara/hasbro's quality control is slowly going downhill. i say this because some of the paint jobs on the new figs are already scratched BEFORE theyre even taken out of the package, not to mention they would rub off and scratch more once you transform them. anyway, that seriously is wack that a piece was missing from an already rare product, and you the customer, has to pay extra to get it. seriously, i would try sending in a complaint to takara/hasbro and try to have them send you the missing piece. im more than certain that they have tons of pieces for these figs just lying around. well, good luck to ya.

That's not a bad idea. How do I go about contacting Takara? Would they understand english?

I feel so bad for laughing after reading that

Good luck with the shoe, man. Perhaps you could just sculpt the piece out of peroxy? It couldn't be incredibly complex.

Dude don't feel bad. It's an honest question coming from someone who has had to deal with people who he was told "Spoke English." Let me just say that there is a big difference between speaking, and understanding. I've thought about making the part but there is one problem; I have no artistic ability. What really sucks about the whole thing is that this isn't the first time this has happened to me, this year.

I know you probably did this, but did you check the inside of the shoe? There are two places to store the two different gun parts. I would suppose if you found one, you'd find the other.
Sorry to hear about that. Sucks when yOu cannot take something back to retail. BBTS is awesome about keeping their clients happy.

heh.... i dont even know how to contact hasbro. i dont even think you can contact hasbro. whenever you check their website, there is no actual e-mail address you can send to. rather there is just a bunch of faq's which is "supposed" to help you with your problem so that they dont have to deal with you directly. now thats a bunch of bullsh*t if ya ask me

I don't have the part to take pictures of it. It's funny, the first thing I did was open the shell to make sure it didn't fall into the shoe. I also took my bed apart to see if it fell on the sheets. I guess I'm just going to have to chock this one up to bad luck.
