Since they did re issue Soundwave I'm assuming there's a chance. But unfortunately it won't be until a great while.
Cause Takara reissued Soundwave in 2003 ,and it took Hasbro 4 years to get him here. The problem with Hasbro either they take too long or they don't release that reissue at all.

I'd say there's a good chance in the far future. I've come to accept that G1s are going to get reissued every few years, and these two, being popular, have a much better chance than most. But who needs a Hasbro reissue anyway? The Takara ones are always superior. The current encore reissues will be good enough for me.

I believe you have it the wrong way my friend, You have the moive figures in mind if I'm correct, the others are talking about G1 Ratchet and Ironhide.
As for the thought of their reissue, I would love to actually have a chance to get them at a reasonable price.

I don't mind buying a Takara reissue sometimes but shipping and handling is just too much. Especially if it's a real big transformer. Shipping and handling also is getting more expensive like everything else I'm afraid.

I think you would be better of caving in and grabbing the Takara Encore versions that should be out in late November.
No waiting, hoping or relying on Hasbro for half a decade that way.

Takara's are more pricey but they are unaltered. Unlike Hasbros. Hasbro alters the weapons, Prime's pipe stacks, etc. To comply with the toy laws here. But you also have to pay for shipping too in reference to Takaras. Cause they are imports from Japan.
The problem with Hasbro they wait before Takara reissues ,and Hasbro takes a year to several years.
Hasbro may not be as great as Takara but atleast they are more affordable and you don't have to pay for shipping either.

See also, the Seeker's weapons, Jazz's missile etc.. I just preordered Rachet and Ironhide from BBTS primarily because I'm not taking the chance that they won't be reissued in the US and then wind up paying $75.00 at least to get something I could have bought for $35.00 at the time.

The guys at Botcon said there won't be any G1 reissues.. They are focusing on the animated and the Soundwave was only released to stick in the classics line up.. Granted he should have go a new sculpt for the classics but that is why he was released for that line....
