I did a search for a Marvel G1 thread but couldn't find one.

Awhile back I started collecting collected editions of the Marvel GI Joe and Transformers stuff. IDW made it pretty easy to buy GI Joe but they were missing that GI Joe profile book Order of Battle. While it was out of print, I managed to find a copy at a show for cover price.




Since I had GI Joe: Order of Battle, I needed to own the Transformers equivalent Transformers Universe. I know the last Transformers Classic volume has the Universe bio entries and the updated ones as well. But I wanted the original printing.

It goes for crazy prices online, I've seen it from $80 to $150. But I manage to find it at local show!

I thought it was really cool that Volume 8 of the IDW Classics reprints was just a collection of these profile books. Made the material easier to get a hold of at any rate!

I got the DW MTMTE set, very fun reads. I also have the Armada editions, they're good as well.
