MMC's Ferocicons - Feral Rex (Predaking) is here!
Re: MMC's Ferocicons - Feral Rex (Predaking) is coming!
In that TFC Ares Thread, somebody colored some of the TFC Predacons in Beast Wars themed characters. Does anybody care to do the same with the MMC Predacons.

I have no interest in that.

Yeah, kinda doubt MMCs Preds would have the same appeal in Beast Wars colors as TFCs. Digibashes would still be interesting to look at if nothing else.

Well, I hope we hear about the fifth member soon. Or something.

After waiting 2+ years on Hexatron, MMC won the heavyweight title.

FansProject first announced their Ice Age figures in 2009, so that's over 5 years

HOWEVER we did see nothing but Hexatron's grey prototype for those two years vs nothing from FP's, so I can see how they might compare.

And FP made up for it a bit by showing us Code, what, a week before he shipped?
And with MMC, at least their products are worth the wait. From what I read around here, I don't think the same can be said for iGear...

The title goes to Igear. Igear was suspose to release that smaller scale MP Megatron they called Monarch leader. Igear has been promising this figure for years. Most assume it got cancelled years ago. Igear didn't even have the class to officially announce it's cancellation. Most assumed Igear was unable to make this figure. Because the removal of the diecast metal backbone would have made this toy fall apart & break into pieces during transformation.

MMC and FP are, for me at least, well worth the wait. iGear is... not. So they 'win' the title.

iGear produce products late, that are also sub-standard. At least FP and MMC produce products which are (well) worth waiting for.

I actually love all of igears stuff. I own the mini bots, kup head and weapons set. They all are cool. My only gripe would be to make huffer and seaspray bigger and i would gladly wait a year for it if they would consider upsizing them.

Kup's head was nice, Seaspray no complaints there, it's when they lazily resized the others and got all their colour palettes wrong that they pissed me off. By all means make them small deluxe class, but do it with deluxe class levels of detail and fidelity, don't just upscale legends class. Unacceptable!

I got a couple of things . Kups heads = Excellent. Weapons pack = Good but one set of guns are a loose fit. Comic Brawn = Good/Ok he could have been excellent but the fact he is not easy to stand and the stress marks round the ball joint connectors really pissed me off .

This is an iGear thread now? Sure.
iGear produced some stuff I liked. They baffle me a bit, though. Won't really get into it since this is the FR thread, but their minibots show a real lack of forethought on several fronts. Love their Sharkticons, though.

Well, if MMC would put up their last preorder and show us finished, painted samples of Talon and Leo Dux, and a ship date, then we would stay on topic. I blame MMC.
And I blame our ADD mentalit...look! Something shiny is on the right banner!

lol!! Igear sucks! I'm selling my going to sell all my Igears stuff when better things come along. looking at you gears and UFO!!
I take that back Kup head is awesome! =D
I thought we've seen Peaugh with painted samples of Talon and Leo Dux and Rampage too (they're prototypes though). Didn't he do a video for the whole thing? Is this going to be the first time a reviewer has a product a year before the retail versions comes out?? =x

I've got the iGear Kup head & Weapons set for Kup/Perceptor. I had Faith Leader, but happily sold him. I would never buy any of their stand alone figures (I hear their Sharkticons are quality, but the aesthetics kill them for me).
Seriously... I'm very interested in seeing Peaugh's reviews comparing the final Leo Dux, Talon, and Tigris figures to their protoype counterparts.

Saintly? That's a laugh!

So far, MMC has done a good job of quelling nerd-rage. As soon as they stop being accommodating and sending replacement parts or responding to fandom concerns in a timely manner, they'll be eaten alive. But so far, so good.
