Hi y´all!
I just finished the latest post on my blog where I am speculating about how Transformers toys will change in the years to come:
https://tftheoretician.wordpress.com/20 ... he-future/
Am I completely unrealistic? Or perhaps reasonable in my assumptions? What are YOUR theories?
Please share your thoughts!

Well, the URL won't work. It took the ellipses in it as fact, so it tries to take you to "...to-the-future", which of course doesn't exist.

Perhaps this will work.

Ok Theo, here it goes.
#1 is so on point its ridiculous.
Nice encapsulation of the home printing movement.
#2 is a growing trend amongst the different lines.
Do I think it will be an over arching gimmick, no; however for entry level toys and ephemera, it works wonderfully.
#3 is interesting but the overall clunkiness of most of this style is prohibitive in function due to design.
Now if they figure out a way to streamline that whole gimmick to an integrated piece instead of a trigger stud, they could be on to something.
#4 is an awesome idea that was recently explored in Prime.
I think as the evolution of #2 happens, that will naturally spill over into this arena.
#5 this explosion of ideas grows exponentially as every year passes.
Life sized and beyond should be a goal easily grasped; the sky is literally the limit from there.
