Okay, so, I just bought Skyward Sword, and I bought a Wii Remote Plus to go with.
So I get it synced, it works fine, I start the game, and, after calibration...nothing. It won't sense the Wii remote's movement. I restart the system, and, again, the remote works fine, until Skyward Sword does it's calibration, and, again, it fails to work. I got it to work once, but when I started a tutorial (Which I figured would be a good idea) it stopped working, and I haven't been able to replicate that. A few times, it picked it up for a split second, but I wasn't able to get it to work right more than that.
What's worse, there's no information available on this. It's all people complaining about the controls for Skyward Sword, or complaining about people complaining about the Skyward Sword controls, or, worse, the same generic "solutions" that people always say but never work. (Clean the sensors, restart the system, bullshit like that)
The problem might be that I'm using a third-party wireless sensor bar, and if that is the problem, then I am properly **** here. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Okay, a mix of timing, luck, and a little bit of skill managed to get it working (Basically hitting a sweet spot, so to speak, and hitting A...it's like Nintendo's writing their own jokes into the programming now) Still, if anyone could figure out a better solution, that would be appreciated.

My friend used to use one of those 3rd party sensor bars. I gotta tell ya, they are utter **** with some games, It would work with Twighlight Princess, but not Mario Galaxy, etc. Replacing it may be the best idea. Or you could just keep winging it every time you play Skyward Sword untill you finish the game and find everything...

Thing is, in the game itself, it runs perfectly. It's just at start-up I have to almost literally jump through hoops to get it working.
Replacing it is a solid idea. I'd have the original sensor bar, but, well, lesson learned, never loan anything to my sister if you really want it back in its entirety at some point.
