New Transformers animated series... faces look terrible??
Is it just me or do the faces of the bots in the new Transformers animated series look terrible?
I just got done looking at the gallery of the new toys, and also the clip, and i think the faces look really bad.
Anyone agree?

Yes I agree, the thing that I hate about them, their bodies and like so big and their legs are tiny, they don't even look like Robots at all.

I like them. I'm sure not all of them will be stellar figures, but I'm excited about what I have seen so far.
At the worst, they will be a sidenote line in the history of TFs.
At best, they will be a refreshing change to the ongoing Transformers saga.
Either way, I plan on getting the figures I like and passing on those not worthy of my collection.

QFT.
I'm liking the highly stylised, dynamic look they're going for.

Well the series is being made by the Cartoon Network, so everything is quite similar to the Cartoon Clone Wars Series. The characters look rough, and oddly shaped, but the look quite edgy and very stealthy looking.

I can accept most of them, and some of them like prowl and ratchet have faces I really like, but prime really needs a faceplate. He also looks very small, but no doubt there will be a leader version, hopefully with faceplate.

I'm pretty excite now I like the look of figures thanks to gallerys that have been posted. Also I think prowl is pretty cool and I don't know if they showed blitzwing or not from the picture since alot of the figure weren't labeled.

I think these are some of the best TF character designs... EVER! that's right... the have personality and style, something I felt that the previous toons (after BW) lacked somewhat. I'm literally giddy over Screamer and his new look... combined with the AWESOME "Latta-esque' voice, he looks to be one of the best screamers I've seen.
I am a little disappointed that they used Movie Megs, there are SOOO many good Megatron char. designs to draw from and I fell that the movie version is one of the weakest (maybe only being beaten by Giant Head Megs).
The photos of the Leader Prime toy did have a faceplate and it shows prime with the plate when he is brandishing the axe the preview clip. I think its fair to say he will be back and forth between the two... similar to the Movie or BW... I'm not too worried.
Sooo.... I like it.... I like it a lot!
