I'm really liking the look of these FoC style figures. MP Grimlock is one of my fave all time figures, just for pure nostalgia reasons, but I really did like the FoC version of Grimlock. The design for both the game character and the toy really worked for me and I'm up for starting a Voyager/Deluxe sized Dinobot collection based on the FoC aesthetic.

I haven't actually got Caelus, but after seeing more of this line I'm really tempted to try and find one.

Looks pretty good, but I kinda think the front legs need to be smaller, or the back legs need to be bigger. Something just doesn't look right, although given how great some of the other pics looked I'm chalking it up to the angle of the shot. Regardless, I love him, and PX's stuff is looking like it might be my set of Dinobots. I kinda wish the tail could bend, but...oh well.

i dont really like the shoulder pads on his front legs/arms while in dino mode. everything else is bloody marvellous.

In the game they were pointed more up, though they still had the steer like shape to them going out horizontally before pointing up. Triceratops had horns that pretty much came straight up from the crests over the eyes, IIRC.

When I get to a better computer, I'll post some comparison pics...

I love this line! Slag/Slug is a much better scale next to Sludge in my opinion. And I was bothered a little by the shoulder pads too. But there was a less pronounced pad of spikes in the game, and if it is necessary for the overall transformation, then I am fine with it.

I think, after looking at it more, that Slag is my least favourite of the FoC Dinobots, but I cannot deny that he appears to be game accurate.

I was hoping for a little more size diversity though, but overall I'm not too chaffed.

After over 10 years of collecting, I'll finally have an entire team of modernized G1 Dinobots!

Looks like everyone except Swoop/Caelus is roughly the same height as Grimlock.

You know, that makes me realize that we've never gotten Dinobots who are neither brutes no just ordinary guys. I wanna see Dinobots who have the personalities of noble aristocrats.

Not so much "Grimlock's New Brain" Grimlock, but more RID 2001 Midnight Express.
