I probably would have been too young for your interest back then. You probably would have thought of me like a little sister. Besides I wasn't really welcomed to hang around with the boys while they played with their Transformers. "Boys Only" in the club house ya know? Anyhow, you mentioned before that you did order shipments from the S.T.A.R.S. order forms? Did you pay for the membership kit too? I can't wait to see someone original Membership/I.D. Card...hehe.

I'm thirty. It's on my profile page too. So I was pretty young back then. I was introduced to the cartoons and toys because of my older brothers. But I was also well versed in Star Wars, Star Trek, 80's Atari Games *Remembers those awesome Pizza Time Theater Days*, Super Nintendo, Marvel Comics and Superhero flicks at a young age as well. You're a Star trek fan, ever been to any of the conventions? How come they don't have Star Wars Conventions? Or do they?
I had a friend who once met Leonard Nimoy at one of the Cons and he actually took a "Cell" of Galvatron, which Leonard Nimoy autographed...

Damn.
Yes I've been to a few Trek conventions and there are Star Wars conventions but these days the popular thing is Sci-Fi conventions.
They have a little of everything from Trek,SW B5 SG1 and anything you can think of.

Yeah at the Comic-Con this month the big announcement was the preview of the new Tron sequel called either, "Tron 2" or "Tron Legacy". I think they will go with Tron Legacy, because of the game titled Tron 2.0. I just found out about the movie the other day. But the movie isn't supposed to be released until 2011. But the concept art for the lightcycles would be cool as a Transformer Alt mode on Cybertron.
One question; Where's the seat? #^@% the rider.. Who needs em if you're a Transformer on Cybertron.

Flare wrote:@sto_vo_kor_2000: So you were a S.T.A.R.S. member, did you play along with the storyline? And in part of the floor of the command/control center was there a board game? I'm curious to hear about how members used their memberships? Was all the info in those recruitment flyers, or did they send more literature on the S.T.A.R.S. interactive situation and storyline to members?

No I never really played along.
I was the only one of my friends to join up so no one I knew had any info.
Ther was a board game of sorts that was part of the packege if I remember right but I dont remember the details.
There was some subsequent info packs that came in the mail later on but I dont remember much about them.

So what happened to your membership items? Did they get all tossed out or sold?

Lost/Damaged in a flood......along with much of my original collection.
I moved out on my own when I was very young and I stored much of my collectable in the houses of 2 of my aunts.
My comics survived the flood but most of my TF's were destroyed by the water.

I'm very sorry. But I think it's awesome you were a member of S.T.A.R.S., and I'm still hoping there might be more on Seibertron.com!
I've seen a few on other Transformers web-communities.
