Transformer comments and questions

Is there a website that you can put in the alt modes without specifying the color? I want to look for boat Transformers, and to put in the color to look for everyone that's come out would be time consuming.

Dude, learn to use the edit button. If the last post in a thread was made by you, it's generally better to edit instead of make a new post unless there's been a big delay since the last one.

Plus it'll keep your post count down, so you'll stay at Vehicon rank for longer.

One of my G1 colored constructicons from the legend/legion Devastator has some messy extra plastic it shouldn't, but it's still generally ok. Couldn't get the extra off but it's more of an annoyance than a problem.

As anyone who looks at my profile can see, he's not my favorite Transformer. He's just the only one who has a name on the list of titles. He is a very cool easy to transform into a car Transformer though. At least that's the way it is with Legends class Vehicon. I don't know about the bigger Vehicons.
PRID Vehicon has a pretty nifty (imo) transformation.

I don't mean this as offense, please don't take it as such, but this actually seems to fit with your style of posting. Granted all I know about the disorder is stuff on TV or the internet, but your high level of unrestrained enthusiasm and occasionally getting fixated on some particular thing (such as you were with triple changers), seems pretty close to how I've seen Asperger's portrayed.

I still asked a question that didn't get answered. I tend to treat messages like conversations, so if nobody knows of a good Transformers website that doesn't make you put in the color, it would be nice if you let me know. I finally bought RID Blastwave today at Walmart. I found one other TR Transformer that I want, but I didn't have the money for him. It was a Legends class Bumblebee for ten dollars, and they also had another repaint called Roadburn or something.
Since Blastwave and Bludgeon are repaints of each other and one's an Autobot while the other one is a Decepticon, has there ever been a battle between the two of them in the cartoon? It would be interesting to see who would come out on top.
Here are a few Transformer jokes that I hope people like. Has anyone ever stuck his foot out to trip a con or Trypticon? Since there's a Transformer called Blackout, is there one called Power Outage?

People looking or not looking at the thread isn't going to make a difference to your post count. Literally the only thing that affects it is the number of posts you make - not anything to do with other people looking/not looking/posting/not posting. That's why your post count doesn't go up if you edit a comment: you're not creating a new post, just changing an already-posted one, so it doesn't increase the number of posts you've posted. Post post post post post.

Ah, I get it now. Usually the Edit feature is best used when yours is the most recent post - the primary intended use, I believe, is to keep double-/triple-/etc. posts down (i.e. multiple posts by the same person, one after another, with nobody else's posts in between). Because of that, people are unlikely to scroll back before the most recent post to check for significantly edited posts, because it's unusual for someone to edit their post significantly when there's a newer one after that.
TL;DR editing is best used only when your post is the most recent one (rather than ending up with multiple of your own posts in a row), and people don't get notified and often won't check if you've edited an earlier comment.
And as to your questions:
- - I don't believe there's any non-color-specific database of Transformers altmodes for you to browse. Since the intention of that website is to help identify an individual figure, it's not really designed to let you browse as such (as opposed to pinning down a single toy out of multiple possibilities).
- Neither Blastwave nor Bludgeon have appeared in the show (or any fiction) yet, as far as I can tell, so they haven't had it out at all. I do agree though that it would be interesting to see who the victor would be of a tussle between them.

I had to update alternate modes with a few more, and it took a long time to get around the character rules. The temperature of the star may be hotter than any other including the sun because it's 5 billion degrees Fahrenheit. The T-bird is from the Beach Boys song Fun Fun Fun, and the Stingray is from the Jan & Dean song Dead Man's Curve, and he has 4 billion 999 million 4 more modes that anyone can think of. He's as hot as he is in any mode as he is in star mode. I can't do numbers for all his techs like strength, courage, and the rest because I'd have to put in 5 billion for all of them, so I'll have to settle for the ones I put. In addition to the weapon that I went with, he's armed with a power ring from DC Comics Green Lantern and a power bracelet from Marvel's Quasar; and his name is 5 Billion shot as opposed to the names of the numerous Green Lantern and the one secret identity for Quasar.
I have a hard time getting my Legends class Wheeljack to stand, but that's because he's loose, and I've had him a while. I saw three Tiny Turbo changer wrappers in Walmart. One of them had been opened and wasn't there, and the other two looked like Optimus Prime in them because the two they had had diesel truck on the back.
I wish there was a way to get him into a random RPG, but I guess there are none like that for 5 Billion Shot. The Vehicon could be any vehicle not mentioned. He can cool down to make himself approachable, but that would make him too vulnerable to attacks from Unicron or Decepticons if his Green Lantern ring and Quasar bracelet weren't charged. Green Lantern rings are good for 24 hours for most Green Lantern, and I don't know about Quasar bracelets because I only read one issue of that, and the rings offer automatic protection, and his weapons can protect him for 5 billion seconds after a charge, but there would be an evil Transformer somewhere after morning than 158 years. I added an XKE to the list of modes, so there's 4,999,999,993 more to go. I got a deluxe Megatron tank today in the mail, and trying to reattach the red hand makes my fingers sore, and I've had to do it several times already. Are there any online videos that show how?
I guess that red piece is supposed to go on the gun, and Megatron doesn't have a hand for that arm. A Sergeant Kup also came for me in the mail yesterday; and he's so tight, it was all I could do to turn him into a robot and back. They'd expect a five-year-old to transform him? The tank Megatron is a lot easier, and I had a hard enough time with him and didn't have to look at the directions nearly as much.
Would anyone who lives near Orange City, Florida like to come over and play a game where you see how quickly you can transform Sergeant Kup into a robot and back ten times, since nobody can live long enough to do transform him 5 billion times? A person could possibly live long enough to transform the head of a Headmaster 5 billion times because you can do those one handed.
Here's another toy idea that I don't know of Transformers doing even back in the G1 days. They could try putting out Transformers like Ja-ru's Speed Shotz that are like key start cars, only make them patently different.
I looked at TFWiki acronyms and couldn't find DKM. I know DOTM is Dark of the Moon, but I don't have a clue about DKM. Can someone please help me with this acronym?

Yeah, there are some pretty scummy people out there who open small blind-bags like that in the store and steal the thing inside (it happens with the Lego Minifigure blind-bags too). When they're that cheap, and especially when there are ways to tell what's inside each bag so you know exactly which one you're buying - as there are with the Tiny Turbo Changers and their number codes - I just can't believe some people still do things like that.
I don't think the truck on the back of the bags means that they have Optimus in them. The point of the Tiny Turbo Changers packaging is to be "blind", so you don't know what you're getting - though as I mentioned just above, I believe there are ways to work out what's inside each bag using printed number codes and such - and hence all the wrappers look the same regardless of which figure is contained within. I'd guess that the reason Optimus features prominently on the packaging design is simply because he's so popular and recongnizable.

I wonder if Hasbro or Takara has lost the Predacon/Terrocon Mould for Hungerrr ?
As why would they fail to ever repaint him other than once ?
The Number of Grimlock Limbs is pretty silly but The have some sort of aversion repainting the Twin Strike & Hungerr moulds for some reason.
We could have had a whole Autobot/Dinobot Combiner (of sort) if they'd just bothered to make a torso as Twinferno and another Decepticon one.
I find that lack increasingly disappointing with each additional Grimlock branded leg re-issue.

Nah, they just made a new mold to be more movie-accurate and to be a more attractive purchase.

The answer is simple: as they have not one but two heads, it's really difficult to find similar characters to redeco them into. Sure, we have Twinferno/Doublecross, and we can always make new characters...

What are the measurements of the head of a G1 Headmaster head figure? And what measurements on the Tech-Specometer tab give what reading? I ask because I would like to try my hand at scratchbuilding them since I have 3 headless Headmasters.

I remember being told awhile back that Hasbro won't call their triple changer that turns into a jet and an oil tanker Octane because Octane got taken by a sporting goods company. It seemed like Hot Rod was taken back in the Armada days, and that's why they went with Rodimus Major. If they just went ahead and used the original names names anyway and didn't bother to add what their allegiance is like with Rumble, which is called Decepticon Rumble, would other companies be able to sue or something? Also, since Burn changed my title to Insecticon for awhile, which was a name I didn't care for because I don't have that Transformer; and there weren't exactly any local stores I could just go to and get one, I've compiled a list of title names since I'm too close to losing Vehicon. I wish it was a thousand post count like it is with others, but here's my list: Bumblebee, Spinister, Wheeljack, Starscream, Primestrong, Chromedome, Astrotrain, Hound, Prowl, Strongarm, Kup, Rumble, Laserbeak, Megatron, and Optimus Prime. That's my preferred list of title changes in no particular order of what I like.
I've got Sergeant Kup. It's a deluxe class one that turns into an old-fashioned pick-up instead of the futuristic Cybertronian that he usually turns into.

Technically, it was in Animated they went with Rodimus Major- for Armada they had the same issue but chose Hot Shot

Regardless though, that's definitely why they do it. All sorts of things have been done to make more unique, copyright-able names. Decepticon Rumble is a good example, and we've also seen stuff like Sergeant Kup and Rescue Ratchet.
Realistically, it's very unlikely they'd ever get sued unless there was another toy with a similar name made by a different company. No-one is going to get confused between sporting goods and plastic robots, so if it ever went to court it wouldn't get very far. However Hasbro, and most major companies, tend to be really careful with copyright stuff just in case!

I'm sorry to say mate, but I think you missed your chance on the custom title. Most people on the boards don't ever get the chance to have a special title; since you rejected yours, I somehow doubt you'll have the chance to be given another, let alone choose what it is. (Also, you'll find that most board titles are based on groups or subfactions, rather than individual characters - it just so happens that as well as being subgroup names, 'Insecticon' and 'Vehicon' were also names given to individual members within those groups.)

News Staff have the same rights as Moderators.

No, I don't see that you'd have reason to. Allegiances don't necessarily mean a thing since the evil Transformers are known as DECEPTicons. Does that mean news staff have the right to issue bans to people if they keep breaking rules?

Only Administrators can ban people.
Moderators can issue warnings, which is something News Staff CAN do however we prefer they leave that sort of thing up to Forum Staff.
They have their assigned jobs.

That looks like ROTF Deluxe-class Soundwave to me.

Re: Transformer comments and questions
Twinferno / Doublecross was who I was specifically thinking of for Hungerrr's : Legion class mould to be repainted into - to be part of the way there to a Monster/Dinobot combiner (unofficially).
But the characters in the Kre-0 combiners might work too. I still would like those in full size non-building toy form perhaps there is remould potential for mild remoulds derived from a hypothetical Combiner Wars style Seacons or Terrorcons.
In general though I think it's OK to make new characters out of the terrorcon moulds to get the use out of them and to unlock the combination potential that is going un-resolved.

Who's this? Some bonehead opened up packages of Tiny Turbo changers and took the instructions; and he doesn't show up on that website that ExiKaiser gave me, so I have no idea who he is. He's very easy to transform, and I didn't need the instructions for that, and he's even easier to transform than Bumblebee because I can get him to stand up. Besides him, I got a Starscream, a Shadow Grimlock, and a legion class Megatron; but unfortunately, my Starscream and my Prime Bumblebee got lost on the bus on the way home. What idiot would take the instructions and not the Transformers too?
