If I may make a recommendation?

It needs more detail. An easy way to do this on a figure like that is a wash of black paint to bring out the seams and intakes.

To do this, get your medium fine brush nice and wet and then pick up some black paint. Lightly go over the figure's seams and the watered down black should apply inside them.

[Test it on something expendable first just to make sure it applies properly. If you get it on the plating you can dab it off with a paper towel if you act quickly.]

i'll probably do that on a larger skyfire repaint.

A suggestion: borrow a camera that takes good photos! That way we can actually admore your hard work! A carefully repainted figure really deserves decent pictures.

problem being is i have a good camera,but the settings on the camera are so temperamental that for one figure i'll get perfect pics and then another,no matter how much tweaking,ends up looking blurred

Sounds like it needs to be sent back! Technology often goes wrong for me, too! But these pics don't do your work justice.
