Transformers G1 Series coming to Blu-ray?

Is there any word on the G1 series getting the Blu-Ray treatment it deserves? I have been holding out on ordering any of the Shout! DVD's just so I wouldn't end up buying them twice (though I probably wouldn't be too angry considering how much I like looking at anything Transformer that I own.).

I haven't heard anything, but honestly, I doubt it, at least in the next five years. Having just had the Shout! and Rhino releases, I just can't see anyone going through the expense of re-remastering the series for BD.
