Max or Maxwell.

Originally a surname meaning "stream of Maccus" from the Old English name Maccus combined with wella "stream". A famous bearer of the surname was James Maxwell, a Scottish physicist who studied gases and electromagnetism.

MICHAEL

Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, German, Czech, Biblical

Pronounced: MIE-kul (English), MI-khah-el (German) [key]
From the Hebrew name מִיכָאֵל (Mika'el) which meant "who is like God?". This is the name of one of the seven archangels in Hebrew tradition and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible. In the Book of Revelation in the New Testament he is portrayed as the leader of heaven's armies, and thus is considered the patron saint of soldiers.

This was the name of nine Byzantine emperors and a czar of Russia. Other more modern bearers of this name include the 19th-century chemist/physicist Michael Faraday and basketball player Michael Jordan.

hmm, it said my name wasn't known????

Which is odd because I thought my name was a pretty common one, anywho here it is....

The name Brian is of Celtic origin and its meaning may be "hill" or "strong, noble, and high"[1]. There is no strong evidence regarding any potential origin, only conjecture, although the Gaelic word "brígh"/"brìgh" ("context", "elixir", "essence", "interpretation", "meaning", "pith", "significance") offer a possible root. Brian means a matter strength, dignity, and honor. Another meaning for this name is "majestic and powerful in Irish rule." It could also come from the ancient British word for "king" (*brigantinos, Brythonic *brijanin, Welsh brenin).

A common definition is " Noble, strong, virtuous".

As per [url]behindthename.com[/url] my name means:

Nicolas
"French form of NICHOLAS

So what does Nicholas mean? "From the Greek name Νικολαος (Nikolaos) which meant "victory of the people" from Greek νικη (nike) "victory" and λαος (laos) "people". Saint Nicholas was a 4th-century bishop from Anatolia who, according to legend, saved the daughters of a poor man from lives of prostitution. He is also known as Santa Claus (from Dutch Sinterklaas), the bringer of Christmas presents. He is the patron saint of children, sailors and merchants, and Greece and Russia. Nicholas was also the name of two czars of Russia and five popes."

Therefore, my name means "Victory of the People" (I've known this since I was 6. I just like dragging stuff out)

My first name:

ARTHUR
Gender: Masculine
Usage: English, French, Welsh Mythology
Pronounced: AHR-thur (English), ar-TUYR (French) [key]
The meaning of this name is unknown. It could be derived from British art "bear" combined with viros "man", or it could be related to Irish art "stone". Alternatively it could be related to an obscure Roman family name Artorius. Arthur is the name of the central character in Arthurian legend, a 6th-century king of the Britons who presided over the knights of the Round Table. He may or may not have been an actual person. Other famous bearers of the name include mystery author Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, and science-fiction author Arthur C. Clarke.

My middle name, which is what I go by:

RHYS
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Welsh
Pronounced: HREES (Welsh), REES (English) [key]
Means "enthusiasm" in Welsh. Several Welsh rulers have borne this name.
