Ok So this clip on Youtube, Which is also on all G1 DVD's, has a scene from what is allegedly Season 3. It shows the elusive Slammer and Scamper witch are Metroplex's smaller Robot units that exist in his city mode. But where or what episode is that taken from. Its never shown in the whole series at all.
The scene Im talking about is 0:43 - 0:50 of this clip

Its not from any episode that aired.
I heard somewhere that it was footage that was originally going to be used in Metroplex's "single" Toy Commercial.
And what I meen by "single" is that the ad was only going to feature him or both him and Trypticon.
I cant remember where I heard that anymore.

Oooh a commercial, ok that makes sense. I kinda wished they featured his smaller units more in the Series.
Thanks sto_vo_kor_2000!

You sure its not from the Five Faces of Darkness episodes? I may have to double check that but some of those scenes look familiar.

I recognize alot of those scenes also. It's when metroplex and his minis were interrogating the Dinobots thinking they were stealing earths monuments, but it was Trypticon and Octane in Carbombya. The other one with scamper and slammer i've never seen before but most i recognize.

There are clips from both those episodes as well as "Thief in the night" in that vid but the scene in question is not from any of those episodes.
I also dont think the animation style matches "The Ultimate Weapon" which had some of the better animation of season 3.
