It appears that his head can flip back (as part of the transformation?) which reveals a Headmaster port -- and that allows you to use this 3P Optimus as a "Titans Return" figure.

I like this much more than the competition. Although the truck mode looks a little ratchet? They're trying to achieve very different things though, so I guess there's something for everyone.
