Well, okay, MP Prime is a must, any version is still from the same mold, so let your preferences guide as to which to get.
I highly recommend Classics/Henkei Prime. It's a great update of the original, and it has two weapons, but that's not the main reason why I say get it. There are so many 3rd party options with this guy it is ridiculous:
1: Fanproject G3 Trailer: I have it. it is awesome. First off it is base for all the modern TF's out there. That alone makes it worth. Also, it is highly faithful to the original, the mirrors settle the question of where it went in the cartoon, it comes with a butt load of weapons for your other classics figures, it can carry around other figures, roller, Repo Labels have more stickers for it, and it has a connection port for a second trailer...
2: FansProject's City Commander armor is repainted for classics prime, and hooks up to the G3 Trailer. I think it's called Powered Armor and is meant to represent the Diaclone Prime, but it is the closest you can get to a modern Power Master Prime.
3: Mobile Command Base is another trailer/base option that works, and there's a accessory pack for it.
4: Perfect Effect has a big ass sword for this Prime that also transforms into a jet pack with cannons, a smaller sword, and a shield.
5: The Gears of War 2 set is not only meant to work with this Prime, but Movie Primes, the Powered Commander Armor set, and Alterity Prime as well. I just leave it with my classics Prime, so now he's got a bigger version of Prime's original gun that lights up and a smaller version whose back end lights can be put behind Prime's head so the light piping really get lit up. Ya know, for when he's got the Touch.
6: The battle Roller set is meant to work with MP Prime, and Classics Prime as well. It gives him more weapons, a Jet pack, an additional robot, and depending on which one you get, more accessories for your Gears of war set.
Not all of them are cheap, but any one of these alone make the figure worth it. Getting a combination of several is just to cool for words.
