Unless they've changed it, they charge $10 a month and you get full access to Live.

I don't know about you but I don't carry my console around with me. I leave it on the floor at home. Honestly, if you're going to buy a friggin Xbox to play offline you're just straight-up stupid. It was designed for multiplayer and interaction between people over the internet. It kind of needs an internet connection.
No it does not transmit what you do the government. How is it an invasion of privacy? Turn it to look at the wall when you're done playing, problem solved.
The Wii failed for my generation since nobody my age (15) gives a **** about Nintendo. Maybe you older people do since you most likely grew up with Nintendo, but I can't stand the Wii and in my eyes, if failed.

Intah-wib-buls?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Exactly, and do you really want Big Brother watching you from there? I know I don't.prowl123 wrote:Honestly, if you're going to buy a friggin Xbox to play offline you're just straight-up stupid. And if single player games didn't exist, you might have a point. And I'd start listing off hugely successful games that didn't feature multiplayer (Bioshock Infinite leaps to mind the quickest, so there you go; Arkham City and Skyrim followed close behind) but looking at your uh..."arguments" so far, you'd just brush them off in favor of uh..."games" like Call of Duty.
But boy oh boy, that's just "straight-up stupid" of me to enjoy those games for the rich single-player experience, huh? But yeah, go back to your Call of Duty: Rehashed Ops 5 or whatever.prowl123 wrote:No it does not transmit what you do the government.
Yes it does, Microsoft confirmed as much.prowl123 wrote:How is it an invasion of privacy?
By transmitting what you're doing to the US Government. I know this is a bit complicated for you, but try to keep up.prowl123 wrote:Turn it to look at the wall when you're done playing, problem solved.
Oh, brilliant idea! Genius! Oh wait, it's only working while I'm playing. That fact that it's doing it at all is a serious issue.prowl123 wrote:The Wii failed for my generation since nobody my age (15) gives a **** about Nintendo. Your generation isn't the dividing line between success and failure, nor is your opinion of the console. Sales are, and Wii out-shined both of its competitors.prowl123 wrote:I'm **** done with this website.
It's not our fault you decided to fight the console wars by ignoring facts and replacing them with provable falsehoods, subjectivity, and blatant insults.
prowl123 wrote:Anyways, if the Kinect only works while your playing then why is it a problem? Oh wait, IT'S NOT.

Start playing nicely guys. Or you know, if you don't like something someone says, use the "Report this Post" button and you'll attract a Mod who won't be cranky with a headache.

I try to play nicely, I have been for a while if you haven't noticed but everybody keeps coming at me. I state an opinion and somebody's there. Check my most recent thread in General Discussion, you'll see.

In fairness you are making rather malicious opinions and statements.

You did attack the Wii and call it a failure, in your second sentence.

I? I don't like the Wii. I find the controllers too small and glitchy, the graphics are sub-par, and it's basically useless unless you play Nintendo games, which I do not. At the time I didn't know it sold better than the Xbox, I do now.
Console war ends here. I'm leaving it where it stands.

We get it. You're an Xbox fanboy. Now please go away. This was a civilized discussion until you showed up.
