Question about an online store

Postby Master Renegade » Sat Feb 12, 2011 7:47 am

Has anyone dealt with circleanime.com?

Their site says they have a couple of Transformers I'm looking to purchase, but I can't find anything solid about them about them online, outside of their site. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of them, dealt with them, avoided them, or anything. I've seen things that link them to abctoy4me.com, which I also can't find much information about.

I apologize if this is posted in the wrong place, but I figured this was a good place to try.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Specifically, Alternity Convoy and Alternity Megatron, both silver. None of the stores I would call known quantities has either of them in stock, and neither do most of the less known ones.

This was the only place I've yet found in the US that claims to have them in stock.

In any case, you've effectively answered my question, and I will not be taking a chance on them. I'll just keep looking around every so often, and see if anything turns up. Who knows, maybe the order I placed for them 5 or 6 months ago, with a known and trusted store, will actually come in, despite my growing doubts.

Thanks again.

That's where I placed the order I mentioned, when they were expected 5-6 months ago. They keep getting pushed back by a month, every month, which is leading me to suspect that the shipment they were clearly expecting may not be forthcoming. That's why I look around every so often, just in case.

I don't think BBTS would post a pre-order unless they have a confirm source. I had placed an order for the Red Alternity Convoy for the second run of the figure, that also got delayed a bit but eventually came into stock. You can always contact their customer service to find out what's the hold up.

I don't believe they would do so either. I'm just believing circumstances may have changed and they are holding out for as long as possible to try to avoid disappointing their customers. Besides, it's not like I'm canceling my preorder there, I'm just investigating any potential alternatives, just in case.

BBTS are notorious for posting pre-orders in hopes that enough people will pre-order and get the manufacturer to make another run.

On topic: You can place the order using a credit card and if they screw you over you can dispute the charges with the CC company. There are built in protections for things like that.
