Yes an no. For those who have the money and don't mind, they'll buy. For the others, it's a big "meh."

For me, that is the case. I kinda have Soundwave Fatigue. I even skip the SS86 version. The Legacy "leader" does the job aplenty, along the G1 original.

I also feel the same for ML Grimlock. Even if his articulations are way better than the original, I don't want to pay around 200$CAN for the thing. As for Ratchet and Ironhide, I consider them to be overpriced Generations figures.
And my ML Ultra Magnus is still in its box.

For be to be truly exited for ML again, they must make a mind-blowing ML Megatron, or revive the Unicron prototype like they did for Arcee.

For me, yes, absolutely. The prices have been getting silly for a while, and I just cannot justify this kinda costs for a minor re-engineering of a 40-year-old toy. Much as I wish it were otherwise.

Me too, especially when AJ wants to charge in advance for it and BBTS now does DRDs on most items over $100.

Yes the price is a barrier to purchase for many fans. If it was lower no question would pick up both, but at the current level questioning even one. The prices continue to rise and we for one question if it is worth it, despite looking like nice figures. With prices for everything rising to insane levels, rent, food, utilities, toys are becoming a low or non-priority. Ymmv.

I have to agree. Even removing the Tariff factor, the prices on the ML figures have risen considerably. Add to that the earlier ship dates, and it's a line that has become impossible to collect.

Now, the only ML Transformers I won't mind spending the big bucks on are GUN Megatron and Proto-Unicron.

Easy for Proto-Unicron. They just have to do the same thing they did with Arcee.

As for Gun Megatron, they could do something like they did for Ratchet and Ironhide.
