I wanted the Blokees Unicron head, transparent version for a reasonable price. I saw that Toy Snowman had it and everything was 15% off, meaning the equivalent of the sale taxes.
So, to have free shipping, I added a few things like the Blokees ROTB Arcee, AotP Monstructor, and SS86 Cliffjumper.

I got myself that infamous Studio Series Optimus with the Megatron arm. Over here in Canada, it look like a Gamestop/E.B Games exclusive, with the price to match.
Now, to read the comics to know the lore behind the Megs arm...

I got AotP Powerlinx Red Alert and the mini-cons set from Pulse yesterday and should have some time to check them out tonight.

I like this Red Alert mold, scales well against Megatron. I split the Mini-Con set with a friend, but now I'm baffled why we got the Star Saber with Nemesis Prime and the Dark Saber in this set. Should've been the other way around. Also, I like the clever way they hid Sparkplug's connector peg.

I get the feeling that, at the time the Nemesis Pime set was planned, this Powerlinx Red Alert set hadn't been thought up yet, and so the logic of including the Star Saber with Nemesis was just so they could give us the Star Saber at all since it's the more popular of the two swords and was more likely to be desired than the Dark Saber was. Only after the Nemesis w/ Star Saber set did they probably think of making the Powerlinx Red Alert set and making a Dark Saber redeco of the now-existing Star Saber mold.Rodimus Prime wrote:but now I'm baffled why we got the Star Saber with Nemesis Prime and the Dark Saber in this set. I didn't wanted to pay full price for Herald of Unicron. So at 65$CAN at Amazon instead of 88$, it was okay.
One that was never on my radar was Apelinq. But at 45$ with free shipping, meaning priced at just between a deluxe and a voyager, I'm down. And despite ordering from Walmart.ca, the thing was shipped all the way from the UK!
(I didn't know walmart.ca hosted sellers from the UK who shipped for free.)

Picked up Legacy Slipstream, Bludgeon, and Knock Out. I have on the way, Legacy Prime Universe Breakdown and Windsweeper along with Transformers Icons Decepticon Emblem Megatron.
Waiting for a lead on AotP Brawl and Blast Off, for now on the wait list at BBTS. Onslaught is already in my Pile of Loot.
I also snagged a Studio Series 86 Bumblebee from Ross for 12 bucks because I didn't have a Bumblebee in my collection. My wife made fun of me for both not having one and also getting one despite being a Megatron fanatic and a Decepticon collector.
