Parts of Europe is facing hot, hotter, hottest weather.

France experiencing heat wave, peaking above 40°C. Phrase 'heat dome' is being thrown around. The Eiffel Tower tourist attraction had to be closed. Plenty of drowning too, trying to get relief from the unrelenting heat. :(

London (UK) punching above 35°C.

.

It's winter cold where I am in the Southern hemisphere. >:oP

I live in the SE US and it's getting hot here as well. It had been raining every day for almost 2 months straight and now we have a dry stretch, but the humidity is sky high and the bugs are out in force. Can't wait until I can move to the Rocky mountains

Texas weather (specifically the DFW area) continues to be somewhat unpredictable. We're getting 35°C/95°F on the regular now, and rain is being... weird.

They, as in meteorologists, are suggesting it's the warmest June on record where I live. We've had some welcome barmy weather days in early winter that's for sure. This all adds up to an upcoming prolonged bush fire season.

Over in SE Louisiana we are having a typical summer. Hot, muggy, daily rain.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.

Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Update on Texas weather, and it's practically unbearable. It's not really the usual triple-digits that's the issue, it's the humidity that's driving the indeces well into the 110's, with a Heat Advisory all week. And no rain in sight :-(

Thank goodness for AC, I can't imagine living without it here. I hope it lets up before I go back to work as a Crossing Guard in 2 weeks...

Meanwhile, we're up to 170 days (out of 211) of rain this year. It's really great for depression.

All those wildfires didn't help either. 2024 we broke reocrds down here hitting 115 with a feel like of almost 125 and that was from the Canadian wildfires earlier that year (all that smoke goes to the upper atmosphere and chokes out the rain). Last year there were no wildfires and our summer was normal, no 98 degree days just low 90's with our standard rain. This year we had almost 2 months of rain and the past couple weeks have been under this "ring of fire" (always have to come up with a "dynamic" catchy name) and lo and behold there were really bad wildfires.
BTW I am friends with one of the local meteorologists, and he explained how the wildfires affect the atmosphere.

I love rain. Except when driving. Rain hitting the roof has a calming effect & sends me to sleep. Snow, on the other hand, is a different beast altogether. I'll never live in regions with snow season. That'll make me depressed.
