Still hunting for that elusive Reveal the Shield Windcharger? Looks like you can add CVS Pharmacies to your list to stops. TFW2005's Optimus Clyde made the find in Plano, Texas. Priced at $10.49, he will cost you a little more than if find him at one of the discount stores, but still a decent price compared to the aftermarket.

I gotta ask, what's with the obsession over Windcharger? Or is he the only Scout RTS that got any form of release?

IMHO he is great all around with awesome G1 representation! There are only few scouts that I care for and Windcharger is part of the few that actually pack weapons. And that sucks majorly for the rest...'nuff said! :VEHI:

i want it but dont know if i want it for $11. Probably doesnt matter cause ill probably go and they wont have any just like all the other times i get a tip. Still have yet to find anything worth a damn at tjmaxx or marshals.

He's the only G1 style toy of his Size Class.

To answer the above question, Windcharger was supposed to have been released at retail in the U.S., but the beginning of the DOTM line meant that the last wave of ALL Reveal The Shield line never hit any regular retail stores in great quantity, if at all. So he has only sporadically shown up, and only at discount stores like Ross, TJMaxx, etc. Those that have shown up go for high prices on eBay.

If only I weren't broke! Also waiting for BBTS to get the Battle in Space box set in (I had missed out on it when the local K-Mart had it, need to replace my broken Rodimus figure so may as well grab a con along with it.)

Still leaves my Cons unfairly outnumbered currently at 5 (and Grimlock and it will be 6) to 3 (after getting the set it would change to 5-4 or 6-4 if you include Grimmy) Add Windcharger and the scales remain tilted in favor of the

I don't count the couple of DOTM toys I snagged. Not to thrilled with anything from any of the movies. If anything I am eagerly awaiting the Prime series figures.

It's a good thing I found mine at Ross; still $6 cheaper than CVS. Then again the CVS price is better than $45 that I had seen it advertised for online.

Also forgot to add that they showed up in much greater numbers in Canada than in the US. So much so that many American members here were asking Canadian members to hook them up.

I checked my local one but alas no Windcharger. I think the CVS here might be a little ahead of the game toy wise. They actually had DOTM stuff unlike most of the other retailers I check like these that have dust on the toys circa 1800's. I will however check any others I pass just on the off chance. TJ Maxx has actually been very kind to me in finding the rarities...and the not so rare...

Well i guess it's not a big deal when the first movie guys came out i wanted Jazz and i never found him for a long time! :-(

But then i found the final battle one at a Grocery store!

I found about 10 of these at ROSS, and TJmaxx stores, kept one, sold 4 at cost, and threw a couple in lots on eBay.

There's no way I'd pay 10$ for that Windcharger. He really isn't the best thing ever. It was a pain in the ass to get him to line up perfectly in vehicle mode. I was fine paying 3.99$ a piece for him, no way I'd spend 10.49$ especially from CVS.

All power to those who want it and can't find it though, $10.49, is better then 35$.

I find it ironic that the first RTS sightings where of Jazz (the most anticipated) at Walgreen's and what's probably going to be the last RTS sightings are of Windcharger (the most sought after) at CVS. I'm officially declaring Reveal the Shield the drugstore series!

I have seen Windcharger twice in Canada. Love me two times.

They were bought, needless to say. Kept one, sold the other to another collector at cost. Helping people is nice.

BTW he's totally worth $10. Probably not $20, but definitely $10-$13 (retail cost + tax in Canada).

I have my doubts we'll see as many CVS sightings as there were Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshalls. I think the Texas sighting was probably more fluke than anything.
