Rodimus Prime & Hot Rod

Postby Daxmajor » Wed Aug 01, 2007 6:06 am

This may seem like a strange question but was there any differance in the appearance of Hot Rod vs Rodimus Prime other than their height? I'm talking about their animated/comic robot mode model, as obviously their toys and vehicle modes looked quite different.

Rodimus is generally animated with an 'older' look to his face than Hot Rod, and the Japanese series generally gave him dark rings around his eyes. Other than that, most of the differences are in the proportions given that Roddy is taller.

I was thinking of how Judd Nelson delivers the line "Autobots: transform and roll out!" He does it deeper, and older sounding than the voice he used for Hot Rod.

Hey, they paid their price! And it was Gul Dukat's fault! They lost 800 mil, they've paid their due. At least the Cardies don't kill each other over every tiny thing. They are cultured and superior! And who wouldn't rather get knocked on their a** by kanar rather than bloodwine?

They were not beaten by Bajoran terrorists. It was a political move to withdraw from Bajor. And you can't tell me gagh is any better than Cardassian cuisine! It needs yamok sauce to even be edible!

The Klingon empire had to join Federation and Romulan forces to even keep their asses alive during the war. Honorable they may be...too bad most are enjoying it in Sto vo kor!

*commence geek war*

Yeah, the Dominion pretty much exterminated a good part of their population and a bunch of their cities. Ooops! At least Garak survived. ;;)

The shapeshifters owned everyone, until the Federation used dirty tactics to infect them with disease.

I will say this. Best Klingon moment ever: when Worf snaps Weyoun's neck and kills him on the spot.

That was awesome. Particularly since Weyoun was being so smug at the time. I so miss DS9 -- easily best Trek ever.

I have the entire series on DVD. I liked how Dumar joked to the new Weyoun about it, told him to go talk to Warf.

If you guys want to talk about it, we can start a Star Trek thread in General Discussion.
