ROTF is the best toy line so far

I've always been a big tf fun since i was 5....
and the movie toy lines just helped me picking up all me childhood dreams which seemed to be dispearing in my life in a many many years....
i' ve picked up all the figures (delux class to u-class) from the first movie to DOTM.
My point is the toys from DOTM are kind of disppointing compare to ROTF line. well we do get sentinal prime for leader class... but what else?? MG is just a voyage figure which is way too small to fulfill our expectation..... U-class OP is a completely losser compares to ROTF leader class OP....
Now I am only hoping HA soundwave will be a bit better designed.
I am complaining about the toys even though I've picked up all of them. but I wish there is a way that we can tell hasbo and tarakra tommy what we are hoping for getting, and that will help them to design and work out better toys for us.

Well I do agree that generally ROTF is better than DOTM, there are still great figures from DOTM like the 3 DLX Wreckers, SP and the HA Basics were awesome. Now I know striker and Jetwing Prime iis Japan exclusive, they are really awesome too.
Overall I'm slightly disappointed with some molds like DOTM Twins (the ROTF HA & DLXs were way way better) and other characters not presented yet (HA Topspin, LDR MG, HA or DLX Dino), I still like this line.
And whatever the next sub-movie line is coming, I'm sure it will only be better.
Now the only thing that I've really dislike about DOTM(not really the toyline) is Que's design.. too human..

Usually Leader class brings more fun to mé. Still remember how much time i ve spent on transforming rotf Leader op and ss:) Leader mg was just good to mé but REALLY looking forward to see a Leader dotm mg!!!
I ve watched review about ha Soundwave on youtube. I know i am buying it for sure. But i Can see the painting is kind of premitive.. Which makes it difficult to beat the standard HA jazz has set up in my heart. Yeah. Maybe a sey hot red HA dino Can break the record;)
WHO knows? Anyway we love tf!!!!

and i have to agree that ROTF is the best out of the three. ROTF brought scout classes into movie lines and i loved those scouts! but as far as best toy line out of all of them, no. just no. the classics styled lines and i have to say, transformers prime i can easily say that it will be the best one just from seeing pictures, damn i want those toys!

check out my collection thread, updated 2/25/13, and i kinda lost count, i have to count them again....

i think we have told them!! how? just look at all the leftover crap from dotm on shelves! i mean there were some good figs in the line to be sure, but, yeah, "ultimate" prime i might buy for ~$40. maybe not. most of the voyagers from dotm suck as well except megs, shockwave, and the helicopter one i cant think of. hasbro even had to issue manufacturer coupons specifically for ultimate prime and for the line in general- that's sad.
but tf prime is shaping up to be possibly the best tf series to date. i mean, putting aside nestalgia for the shows we watched as children, the sheer depth of the character development, the awesomeness of the battle sequences (ep.23) the quality of the cgi, the awesome voice casting, a great score, and what looks to be a high quality (poseable, show-accurate, little kibble, etc) toy line to boot, i mean the first season already featured unicron and he wasn't even the grand finalie. the first season and you know season finalies always crescendo and get grander each season so what in the heck is coming?

DOTM,has the best basic/scout/commander sized transformers toy designs of the entire three tf live action movie toy lines.
ROTF,Had the best designed+sculpted+engineered voyager sized TF toys.
all three live action TF toy lines had equally awesome leaders sized TF toys.
DOTM had the most dissapointing voyager new molds as their were only 6 new mold voyagers & half of them were pure garbage.
DOTM ruined & had the most awful $29.99 human alliance new molds.
ROTF Had the best $29.99 human alliance new molds toys.
the 2007 movie toy line released the worst huge bumblebee toy. the HFTD $59.99 Bumblebee toy is the best huge bumblebee toy. dotm leader size bumblebee has too much junk & gimmicks attache to it.
rotf supreme devestator & dotm ultimate optimus prime are both equally AWFUL/HORRIBLE/GARBAGE.
all three TF live action movie toy lines had equally decent new mold deluxes. with ROTF Winning if you consider RTS as a branh extension of ROTF toys.
The 2007 movie toy line I felt had the worst scout sized TF toys.
all three live action TF movie toy lines are equally guilty of releasing sub/side-line garbage like the RPM's,titanium 2 inch statues, metal key chains, role play huge weapons, robot replicas,
robot heroes,stealth force. board games,etc....
masterpieces I feel is the best transformers toy line.

That really does seem to be true. DoTM's mech tech is just terrible. I know, "kidz luuv it other conzernz stoopid111111" but I'm not a child, so I like what I like instead of what the other kids like, and I just think that, while a fine idea, mech tech weapons are just crappy. A few of them are pretty good, but I think that's because they work with the fiugre (Shockwave, Megatron, that saw think that TC and that race car have) but then others are maybe cool ideas but just don't executre well (Laserbeak).
I think when it came to the toyline, DoTM was just flat on ideas, seeing as everything has to have a gimmick apparently to entice children, and a car that changes into a robot, thus effectively being two toys at once, wasn't enough of a gimmick.
As little regard as I have for the movie toys in general, ROTF did offer the best ones. The first line was notable for being the plastic representations of the on-screen object, ROTF improved on good parts from the first line, and then with DOTM it was just more than obvious that they store is full of slightly repainted Bumblebees
But, best of all TF lines? No way. I know it's a matter of opinion, but that's mine.

Mechtech did one thing well-it got the gimmicks out of the figures. You can throw those weapons in the trash if you want and ignore them and enjoy the figure without annoying gimmicks.
However, ROTF sorta did this too...they just pretty much got rid of the gimmicks. Yeah, they had "mech alive," but that was a very non-obtrusive gimmick. On some figures you didn't even know it was there. Anyway, ROTF is slightly ahead of DOTM in overall quality since they were actually painted and the figure's weapons (usually) integrated with the figure so they were hidden in alt mode.
