Who would win?I sy Scott.

Real world. It's a matter of Scott being a decent fighter while Spike is likely harder than he looks due to the jobs he's done. Winner Scott, as the longer it takes the better chance for skill.

Fantasy World. It comes down to special skills, which Spike only has access to thru the Auto-bots. it given nothing Scott gets the fast win from his video-game based skills and the Sword of Understanding. Spike's best hope comes from his battle suit which would make things more of a draw but still see Scott winning.

The only clear win for Spike comes from his Fort Max suit. I doubt Scott could beat being stomped on by a base without a couple of 1-ups on hand.

In a real world brawl Spike would destroy Scott within minutes. Spike was raised a roughneck by a roughneck and was doing oil work on a refinery (a job only for hardasses) when he was 16-17ish. Given his lifestyle he'd destroy Scott in a real fight.

In a fight with powers and stuff Spike would still win if he had on his Headmaster gear or his cartoon battlesuit. Odds are he's learned Cybertronian martial arts from the Autobots as well. Alien fighting styles would be, well alien to Scott.

Wasn't one of Scott's first opponents in a band that KO'd their entire audience in less than half a second? The second one died doing a skateboard trick at nearly the speed of sound, if I'm not mistaken. And the third blew a crater into the moon using his vegan-induced psychic powers to prove his love for a girl, then did it again just to prove his love for another girl.

What's Spike have again? Robot suit and POSSIBLY some fancy alien martial arts?

The first Ex (Mathew Patel) fought Scott where both his band (Sex Bob-omb) and the band in question (Crash and the Boys) played (including "Last Song Kills Audience"), but Mathew wasn't a member, he attacked just as Sex Bob-omb was starting their set.

Lucas does defeat himself in the books by doing a trick he wasn't prepared for, but that encounter has been rewritten for the movie.

As for Todd, technically his psychic abilities were suspended by the Vegan Police before Scott defeats him.

Regardless Scott does have wins over Captain America and Superman.

No he doesn't. Because those aren't canonically Superman or Captain America. They're proxies. Even if they look exactly like the characters in question they can't be for legal purposes. It's like if the author of Twilight wrote a book where sparkly vampires beat up Shank the Daywalker. No matter how much Shank might be described to look, act, and sound like Blade he's not Blade. You know what I mean?

Sorry, but if it's not in a canonical crossover it didn't happen nor should it be counted as such. Wolverine almost beating Prowl. Fine, that happened. Scott Pilgrim beating Cap and Supes? Psh.

You know, for a moment there, I felt kind of bad it took me until last night to finally get what Editor said.

In the movie version, the second evil ex, Lucas Lee, is played by Chris Evans (Captain America) and the third, Todd Ingram, is played by Brandon Routh. (Superman)

That said, Spike is a roughneck, I guess, despite the fact that it gives him no fighting skill whatsoever, but Scott is the best fighter in Ontario, Canada, proficient with long swords (He took Long Sword proficiency in fifth grade) and hand-to-hand combat. (A 64-hit combo on Matthew Patel, as well as headbutting Todd Ingram so hard he exploded)

It's not even a question of canon, Loki, because he doesn't fight Cap, Sups or even anything close to their characters in the books.

I googled it. You realize the narrative for the stories leaves it open to speculation whether Scott's really doing that or it's a product of his hyperactive imagination right? Besides I covered both bases. Spike has access to a giant robot if it comes down to it. That turns into the head of an even bigger giant robot. Even assuming Scott's got the super powers he imagines (or does have depending on your oppinion) he has it's still not enough to stop someone that can link up to a robot that pilots a robot that turns into a city/mobile battle station.

Also I was high and didn't feel like explaining. I haven't seen the movie. I'm waiting for a TS to pop up before I download it. The comics, eh I've considered grabbing scans, but I'm so far behind on my comics reading it would take months to even get to. And I can just download a torrent then.

No it doesn't. I know this for a fact because I actually read the comic. It's a comic about a version of Toronto working on beat-'em-up and RPG rules, where a guy uses kung fu and sword fighting to defeat seven super villains to earn the love of the girl he likes. If you're looking so deep into it that you try to perform a psychological analysis and justify that the whole comic is just someone imagining everything, you are doing it wrong.
