I'm a bit of a completionist, and I like it when my figures are in-scale to one another (or at least as close as I can get them). I have FAB Ratchet from the first movie displayed with my other movie Autobots rather than the ROTF Ratchet because he's in better scale than either that one or Voyager Ratchet. I have my Jazz displayed with his legs only half extended so he's smaller than most of the other deluxe Autobots. The point is, I like my figures to be in relative scale, which is why it kills me that ROTF Battle Blades Bumblebee is so huge for a deluxe figure, because it's an excellent figure as well!
However, I'm on the fence about weather or not I want to grab the new DOTM Bumblebee, because he seems to be in better scale, but I already have 1979 camero bumblebee as well as the concept 2009 concept Bumblebee AND Battle Blades Bumblebee and I'm not sure I want to spend the money on ANOTHER Bumblebee. What do you guys think, is he worth it?

ha ha....yeah, I posted another topic about how many bees do you own. I sadly own 3 deluxes plus the 79 camaro making that number 4. not counting legends. (I got suckered into the Walmart exlusive shiny paint job) Many on here own lots of bumblebees.
It's your call I'd say. His car mode seems to be smaller, but he doesn't appear to be to much shorter in bot mode. A little yes, but not terrible.
Scale is hard to go by with Transformers. As I'm with you on scale being important, just sometimes have to push the I believe button.

Yea movie scales are terrible, especially with Ratchet and IH vehicle and robot modes.

Throw the concept of scale out the window.
Trust me. You'll be a lot happier if you do that.

Re: Seeking Advice
I bought DotM BB even though I already have and love Battleblades BB. DotM BB is actually a more accurate mold, it's only the paint apps that blow. Scale is important to me and DotM BB looks better displayed alongside most of my other movie figures. Battleblades BB is too tall and too hunchbacked in comparison, though his paint apps are better and I LOVE his cannon arm.
